Remus

I stared at Sylvia with so many emotions running through my mind. I was angry, enraged, sad and bitter. It was easier when I focused on one emotion but to have two to three running through my mind was something I hated. It made me feel uncomfortable, like I was desperately trying to get rid of a stubborn itch from my body.

''Boss, what do we do now?'' one of my men asked.

The real question was that I didn't know what to do. If it were another person who did this, lord knows i would have killed the person on the spot but this was Slyvia, my mate and wife so it wasn't easy taking a rash decision just like that.

''Leave us.'' I simply said,

If i was to do something, i didn't want to do it in their presence. I had to give Sylvia the respect she deserves no matter what.

They left silently, shutting the door behind them. I looked at Slyvia who was still unconscious on the bed my men had dropped her on. Seeing her like this just reminded me of the fact that she was very beautiful. With the way she slept, no one would ever imagine she was a bad person, frolicking with men who weren't her husband. That was the height of it for me.

I didn't think I would ever forgive Slyvia for what she did but I knew I had to. If we were to perfect this act of being man and woman, I had to just let bygone be bygone. I breathed into her with my powers, watching as she stirred.

Her eyes fluttered open as she tried to get a bearing of where she was. Her eyes were confused as she stared at me. A few minutes later, her eyes focused on me and that was when comprehension dawned on her. There was a fearful look in her eyes which was slowly replaced by anger.

''What is the meaning of this?'' she barked.

The binds my men used to hold her were still tight but I knew it wouldn't be for long. Slyvia was a werewolf, a very strong kind and a mere rope wouldn't hold her for long.

''You still have the guts to talk?'' I asked.

Just like I had predicted, the binds snapped with a flick of her hand. She rose up on her feet immediately, giving me a death glare that didn't faze me one bit.

''What is the meaning of this Remus?'' she barked.

I was actually amazed at her bravery. Never in my life would I ever believe that I would encounter a woman like her. She defied all rules guiding the way a woman ought to behave which surprised me to no end.

''Shut the hell up and sit down.'' I said.

That was the first time since this encounter I was raising my voice. I was tired of her shenanigans, tired of the way she behaved. I didn't know what she was thinking when she decided to sneak out of the mansion then frolic with a goddamn human.

It wasn't a risk, it was a big disgrace not only to me but to the entire pack. If the elders of the pack got wind of what Slyvia did, they wouldn't even care if she was Luna or my wife, she would be ostracized or worse, killed.

''Are you trying to get killed?'' I asked.

There was a confused expression on her face as she stared at me. I could tell that she was confused over what I just said.

''Yes Slyvia, do you know you could be killed for what you just did and i actually have a good mind to report you.'' I smirked.

I was messing with her but still, I wanted to put fear in her heart. I wanted her to know what she did and the gravity of what she did. It just showed to me that she wasn't prepared to learn her lesson and even if I used force, I was prepared to make her learn.

''Why am i finding it hard to believe you?'' she asked with a suspicious look.

''Fine, you don't have to believe me. But i'm sure you must have read it from that book you took from the library.'' I smiled.

There was an astonished and surprised look on her face which was the first real emotion she showed. I had caught her in a tight place and she knew there was possibly no way she could deny that.

''I… how did you know that?'' she asked with a surprised look on her face.

''Sometimes, you behave like a fool and i wouldn't be surprised if you are one.'' I said with a straight face.

I was tired of her behaving like an eight year old kid. If she couldn't behave like the adult she was, I was prepared to put her in her place.

''Do not insult me.'' she seethed.

''What were you planning to do when i caught you?'' I asked.

I wasn't going to take any of her bullshit. Her behavior was getting annoying by the minute and I really needed to shut her up before it was too late.

''Nothing.'' she said boldly.

''I see. Slyvia, you aren't only very stupid, but you're also a shitty faced lair too. Now, tell me what other stupid traits do you have?'' I asked.

I was beyond angry at that moment as I stared at her. First, she not only made me look like a fool but also a liar because indirectly, she was saying i was telling a lie too. It showed with the words she said.

''Remus, have you ever stopped for a minute to ask yourself why you treat me this way? You not only treat me like i'm a scumbag but also a very dumb person. I'm your Luna, your wife but you as well treat me like a slave. Tell me, is that what i am to you?'' she said.

I could tell that she was moved to tears but i didn't care because the image of her with that human was still recurring in my mind.

''That's because you don't make it easy for me. Everytime, you're always whining and frowning and complaining. How on earth do you expect me to be happy with someone like you?'' he asked.

She remained quiet for a while and I knew my words hit her badly. Normally, I would have expected an angry retort or maybe a curse word but she remained quiet as she stared into space.

''What? Cat's got your tongue? Come on, you can't deny the fact that what i said is the truth.'' I said.

''How did you find me?''

That wasn't what I was expecting to hear but I was ready to give her an answer. Never again will she catch me hanging. I had already prepared an answer in my mind and I wouldn't fail to deliver.

''You really are dumb. Have you forgotten I'm a wolf? I can track senses from even a mile away?'' I laughed.

Slyvia never failed to surprise me every time. It just seemed like with each passing minute, she showcased more and more of her traits.

''I need to get back to my room.'' she said.

She said it with so much confidence that it left me surprised. I never knew she had this boldness in her all along. Fine, I knew she was bratty and all but this rudeness was just not it.

''We aren't finished here.'' I snapped.

''Do you want to challenge me?'' she asked.

I could see that she was ready for a fight, judging by the way she stood with her hands on her hips. This woman was very annoying, she riled me up like no one had ever done before.

''And what if I do? Are you going to beat me up?'' I laughed.

She had some nerves if she actually thought that she could beat me in a fight. I never hit women and never would but this woman was driving me crazy.

''For the last time Remus, i need to get back to my room.'' she hissed.

''You didn't even apologize for what you did. Is this how you were trained? Were you trained to be rude to people?'' I asked.

For that, she remained quiet. Her silence even when it didn't matter was riling me more and more. I was just about to say something when a loud pounding on the door stopped me.

''Boss, the elders needs your attention.'' one of my men said.

I groaned because I knew I had to answer them and I wouldn't be able to deal with Slyvia which was a major bummer.

''This discussion isn't over.'' I hissed.

She looked at me with the most evilest look she had ever given me before stalking out of the room. She closed the door with a bang, leavine me in the silence of the room.
