Chapter 15
It's been a few days since the spat they had and to say they both felt miserable would be an understatement, they were sad for themselves. Slyvia couldn't remember the last time she was actually this distant with someone. It felt all strange especially with the situation she found herself in.
''I hate this.'' she sighed.
She paced around in her room, wondering what she could do since Remus had already placed an embargo on her on where she could go to and the places she couldn't go to. It sucked but there was nothing she could do as that was where she found herself.
There were many things going on in her mind that she needed answers to but as it stood, there was no one to give it to her.
As she was thinking, she heard a knock on her door. Slyvia wasn't expecting anyone and so, she was quite curious to know who that was. She decided to wait for a while to see if the person would identify himself but instead, the knock persisted.
''Who is it?'' Slyvia asked.
There was no response which just had her confused all the more. She didn't bargain for any of this this evening.
''If you don't have a name you might as well f**k off.'' she hissed.
Most people knew her to be very cranky and that was because she didn't give a damn about what people said about her.
The knocking persisted and this time around, she decided to go open it to see who it was. Upon opening the door, she was quite surprised to see that it was Remus. For as long as she could remember, Remus had never come into her room before and so, this was very surprising to her. She had no idea what his motive was.
''Remus? Did you miss your way?'' Slyvia asked, confusion etched in her eyes.
''No, I didn't. I actually came to see you.'' he said, walking into the room.
He explained to her why he was there and still, the confusion never left her face. It was very confusing as well as funny.
''So from all you just said, you want to take me to a new mansion you just got?'' Slyvia asked.
She could barely believe her ears. Remus actually wanted to patch things up with her. He was actually making the effort which was something she thought she would never see in years.
''I don't like our constant fights so I want to give us a chance to make this right… please.'' he said.
Slyvia couldn't deny the fact that she actually liked this. She was also ready to mend things with him.
''Okay, let's do this.'' she smiled.
Remus sighed, holding her hands as they walked out of her room. Thankfully, she was already dressed.
''I hope this isn't a prank to get me for what i did the other day?'' Slyvia asked.
She could never be too careful especially with someone like him. In most cases, he was a sly but this time, she had a feeling that this was real, too raw to be a fake.
''No, it isn't Slyvia. This is all real.'' he smiled.
He led Sylvia to his huge mansion that sat in the middle of the town. In all her years of existence, Sylvia had never seen a building so big and wide. Remus truly lived his name as the billionaire he was. The building was protected by two gates, one located at the far east of the area and the other at the west side of the area.
Remus grinned upon seeing the look on Sylvia's face. He knew she would be impressed and he was glad that she felt that way.
"Like what you see?" he grinned.
"You have no idea?" Sylvia smiled.
Past winding pathways, he led her towards the main building that was bathed with light it almost looked like day. Remus opened the main doors with a key card, ushering her in. Sylvia walked in and what she saw left her dumbfounded.
The whole building was bathed in light so bright that she had a hard time believing it was night outside. Laura pranced about, happy at what she saw. For the first time in a really long while, Sylvia was at ease.
This was truly her mate and she was glad to be home. Remus smiled, giving her hands a gentle squeeze. He also felt at ease seeing that his mate was happy. For him, Remus felt like his life was now complete.
There was this ease he felt around her that he hadn't felt in a really long while. She completed him, making him feel like he could very well kill Martins with his bare hands. That thought alone halted his steps. He could vividly remember the bullet sting that had grazed his shoulder when he carried out the attack in the club just before he saw her with that i***t of a human.
Remus knew it was a close shave with death, one that he was lucky to survive and surprisingly, no one knew about the attack or his injury.
"Your mansion is breathtaking." Sylvia said.
Remus was so carried away by his thoughts he didn't know his mate was still standing besides him. Now, she was looking at him with her gorgeous brown eyes that seemed to grow brighter by the second.
"Thank you." Remus smiled, cupping her jaw.
He drew her closer to himself, loving the feel of her body on his. He wanted to do a lot of things to her, things her innocent mind couldn't comprehend but first, he knew he had to wait. There was no point rushing a gift that was in his hands.
"I can't believe I found you." Remus hummed.
He could sense her arousal and he badly wanted to have his way with her but he knew he had to wait. There was no point rushing a gift that was right in front of him.
"I know you can feel the pull of Remus and you badly want to take me. I'm all yours baby boy."
Sylvia smiled. She couldn't understand how bold she got these past few days. It was like she was a new creature, one that she didn't recognize. Though it was strange, she loved and accepted it wholeheartedly.
"You have no idea." He growled.
"I badly want to take you right here and now but first, you need to freshen up then we need to plan in case Martins strikes again then i need to know more about the beautiful girl I'm mated to "Remus said.
"Wow! lead the way to your room mate." Sylvia smiled.
Remus carried her, bridal style as he walked towards his massive living room. At every turn leading to his room, Sylvia was surprised at the beauty the house held. There was no telling how rich Remus was. The house screamed of wealth, power and opulence which wasn't common.
"Here we are." Remus grinned.
His room was a work of fantasy with an overhanging chandelier that bathed the area in an incandescent glow to a large king sized bed that sat in the middle to the glass tiles that reflected the rays of the light. Sylvia had a feeling that she had just stepped into another world, one that she couldn't wait to explore.
"At this point, I really don't know what to say." Sylvia said.
Remus placed her on the bed, watching as she rose to her feet to give the room a full inspection. Remus chuckled, loosening his tie as he shrugged off his shirt. He was all muscles with chiseled abs that seemed like they were carved by the moon goddess herself. Sylvia gulped upon seeing the god that was her mate.
If he was so skillfully crafted like this, she wondered how his c**k would be. No doubt, it would be the dream of any female wolf to f**k him.
"Like what you see?" Remus grinned.
Sylvia gulped again, her lips too useless to form words. He was a walking dream, a dream every girl wished for and she couldn't quite believe that he was hers and hers alone.
"You're..." Sylvia smiled, looking away in embarrassment.
Remus laughed, a deep baritone laugher that seemed to hold the whole room spellbound. Sylvia swore that she could actually hear his wolf laughing alongside him which was something she had never heard in her life. He was close to her, their nose almost touching. Sylvia was having a hard time fighting her feelings.
All she wanted to do was jump on him and have her wicked ways with him but she knew she had to wait. There was no point rushing something that was inevitable.
"You don't have to be shy around me Sylvia. I'm your mate and so are you. My body belongs to you and your's belongs to me. Now, I could have taken you the moment we stepped in but I know that would be a foolish thing to do. We need to get to know each other, I need to tell you my story and you need to tell me yours. I believe that's what we need to do now." Remus said.
Sylvia couldn't place his tone but she knew he was sad about something. It showed in his aura and Laura sensed it too.
"Thank you for understanding." Sylvia smiled.
She couldn't help herself when she kissed him. Remus growled, pulling her closer to feel his c**k. Sylvia gasped, smiling as she broke the kiss. She couldn't quite imagine how big he was.
"How big are you exactly?" Sylvia laughed.
"Oh baby, you have no idea. I can't wait for you to have a taste of my delectable c**k. I can't wait to have your lips around it as i f**k your mouth. Until then my love, I am prepared to wait.'' Remus said.
Sylvia watched him walk towards a door she assumed led to the bathroom. Now that his feelings for her and what he wanted to do, Sylvia couldn't wait for the ride. Now, she knew she was in another world, a world filled with love, lust and an imminent battle.
