My eyes were still on the captive. He knew something and I wanted to hear it at once.
Asher grabbed him at my signal and forced him to get back on his knees.
“You are going to tell me who helped you with the gates. That’s the only way you can keep your head on your body.” I said, but the captive looked like he was not ready to talk.
“I am sure you heard him…” Alara stepped up at once, she was ready to get the captive to talk if he decided to continue with his silence.
“You are weak! That’s why Alpha Caelum was able to take the throne from you!” The captive threw saliva, and it almost landed on Alara.
