ALARA’S POV
I was so distracted that I didn’t realize that Darius had been trying to get my attention.
Are you okay?” He asked after he nudged me.
“I have been calling you.” His voice had been very low because he was also exhausted, but it was audible enough for me to hear him calling.
“I have something for you.” He said and I adjusted while I waited to see what he was up to.
He took out a bracelet and showed it to me.
It was very beautiful, the bright colors were pleasant to my eyes. The tiny golden designs on the bracelet were so shiny that I had to take it closer to my eyes to admire it.
“Do you like it?”
“Yes, it’s very lovely.” I nodded and handed the bracelet back to him.
