ALARA’S POV
Darius was speechless, but he was also thinking about the things I said to him.
“You think that Seraphina and Asher are having an affair?” He waited for me to speak, but I decided that I was going to allow the thoughts to settle first because I knew from the look on his face that he had tried to consider it to be true.
“No! That’s not possible, Alara!” He shook of the thoughts when he felt the sensation from the alleged betrayal.
“That’s a very serious allegation, Alara! Asher would never do such a thing. He has a mate who he intends to marry when the time is right.”
I saw trust and confidence for Asher in Darius’ eyes, and I couldn’t blame him even though I was convinced that everything that I had seen were pointing to something.
