ALARA’S POV Shadows! Shadows! That was all I could see. Then more shadows! Unidentifiable and lurking all over like they were coming for me, waiting for the right time to strike. I didn’t know if I was still alive, but walking in the darkness without being able to feel my feet meant that I was no longer on with my body. The darkness lingered, and so did the fright that was set to consume me. Then I heard voices! Whisperings that sounded like they were talking about me. “We warned her, but she failed to listen.
