ALARA’S POV
Kara had left me completely speechless with what she said. She didn’t even bother to wait for me to say a word, and she turned to leave.
“Where are you going?” I asked, wondering where she was up to.
“I am going home, Luna Alara. I know now that the King will ask where I have been, and I am going to suffer the consequences of my actions.” Kara had tears in her eyes, and it was easy to tell that something seemed to be bothering her.
“What happened, Kara?” I asked, looking into her eyes.
“Nothing, Luna Alara.” She said with a sad look on her face, and then she continued walking.
She seemed to be in a hurry, and that made me go after her.
“You can talk to me, Kara! Whatever it is, we can talk about it!” I intended to make sure that Kara was open to me, and I was open
