ALARA’S POV
The silence in our midst lingered, and I didn’t want to be the first person to speak. I hoped that one of them was going to say something to break it.
“This is not a good idea, Luna Alara. If Alpha Obed has a hand in the witch’s attack just like you suggested, then that means that she must have informed her of her failed attempt.” Asher was the first to speak, and I was glad that it was him.
“Alpha Obed is not a fool, Luna Alara. He knows that he may be a suspect at this moment, and he will be ready to defend himself.” He added, and the king nodded in agreement.
Kara as well supported the Beta, but she didn’t want to admit it, probably because of the feud that existed between the two of them.
