ALARA’S POV
Darius looked at me with an expression that showed that he was a bit surprised and didn’t believe the words he hear from me.
“Darius?” I called out to him, seeing that he had been silent for a while.
“I don’t think I heard you correctly, Alara. You are asking if there is anything that can be done about this?”
“Yes, Darius! Yes…” I nodded to affirm my words, and then I covered some of the space between us.
“I know that this may be hard for you to believe, but I don’t want Tiara to be killed.”
Darius scoffed. “Do you realize what you just said, Alara?” He asked and I nodded.
“She almost killed you!” He said it loud and clear for me to hear.
“I have not forgotten, Darius. I know she tried to kill me, but she didn’t succeed.”
