ALARA’S POV
Sierra was dead, but Darius couldn’t stop talking about the dangers of that night.
Echo was safe, and Ravenna took her away that night. But the boy whom Sierra possessed was dead.
“I don’t want you to get hurt, Alara. I would never have forgiven myself if anything had happened to you.” Darius resumed his worrisome speech the next morning, barely giving me time to catch my breath.
“You worry too much, Darius. As you can see, I am fine.” I showed Darius every part of my body as though he had not seen me the previous night, but he was still unsatisfied.
