ALARA’S POV Stephon wanted to speak, but he looked like he was afraid of something, something that could kill him. “This is your life, Stephon. Tell me the truth.” I urged him while he kept on staring at me. “That was a lie, Alara.” He finally spoke and I gasped in shock. “I knew it!” I said with a smile, but Stephon gestured to me to stay silent. “No one should hear about this, Alara. I am begging you!” He pleaded with a whisper, looking around just in case anyone was coming. “This should be between us, Alara. No one should learn about this.” He demanded with a quivering voice, hoping that I was going to oblige him. “You can trust me, Stephon.
