Chapter Thirteen“Lara please, wait, I can’t stand this. Please talk to me?” His voice emerged with a begging edge he hadn’t intended and the change of attitude stopped Lara slamming the door in Arama’s face. She’d arrived home late from work. The relentless rain forced her to plod along the wet street in her sodden boots, water dripping off the end of her skirt.
