After Tyra and Cassandra had left, I noticed that Aláine seemed more relaxed than she had initially been and certainly a lot happier than when we met. The following morning I talked to Aláine about how she had felt when Cassandra disappeared and the loss she had felt because of it. I had never thought about what it would be like for families left behind when werewolves mated with humans.
After my brainstorming session last night, I resolved to talk to other members in my pack who had initially been human to see how they felt about it and whether they wanted to see their non-werewolf families again.
