After the process of guaranteeing that I, Alexander Parker, was in fact Sophias' 'baby daddy', we started to talk more. I was pretty sure she hated me since most of our conversations consist of her glaring at me or rolling her eyes at a joke I made. I understand the fact that maybe I'm not funny, when it comes to her atleast, but the least she could do is crack a smile.
Anyways, we started with hanging out at my place with Maya. Maya was my four year old daughter. Her real name was Amaya Elizabeth Parker, but she decided to just got with the simple 'Maya'. She didn't like Amaya, which I only said it when she was in trouble. She was a good kid, really, she just has a mouth like me. She's annoying, too smart for her own good, and arrogant. Since Maya grew up without her mother, she was more than happy to have a new female around the house. Especially one that was carrying her new sibling.
It had only been a week since the results came back, but Sophia and Maya have got a great bond going on.
Better then Sophia and I's bond.
Right now, I am waiting for Sophia to come to my car. We are supposed to begin talking 'baby stuff' today. We also had a appointment today. I am not sure what it consist of but I can't even concentrate on that. Whenever I even think of Sophia, I think of that night Sophia and I shared. How her soft lips trailed down my chest, leaving small love bites behind them.
How I got down on my knees for her, eating her out against her front door as she whimpered and helplessly tried to cling to the wall when I brought her to the edge of her orgasm.
I remember the sinful blowjob I received from her, literally making me go weak at the knees. My knees bucked and I practically was laying on the ground as she continued to bob her head, keeping my d**k down her throat. I don't even like blowjobs anymore after that. It appeared as if she had absolutely no gag reflex, which was practically game over for a man receiving a blowjob. I still remember that night, she didn't stop after I came multiple, multiple times. I wanted to cry at the thought of that torture. My d**k couldn't handle it. Never again.
That night was definitely fun but the outcome? Not as fun.
If I had another child like Maya, I'm sending the child and it's mother across the globe. Maya is basically me.
Even I can't stand me.
What made the Lord think I could stand a mini me?
Yeah, I'm not sure either.
Don't get me wrong, I love Maya. That's my flesh and blood. She has my eyes, which everyone says. We argue practically 24/7, which I like, lowkey, since she has such a smart mouth she always responded with perfect. But messing with her is like playing with fire.
I cant tell yet, since Sophia practically does everything in her power to avoid me, but our child may be just as spunk-filled as Maya. Sophia creates comebacks like the back of her hand. She always has. Her favorite thing to do is roll her eyes and ignore me.
She could be Maya's mother. That's all Maya does, on purpose. I could call her name and she'll look me dead in my eye and rolls her eyes before going back to doin whatever she was doing before.
Right now, I'm waiting for Sophia to come outside for our first appointment. I'd been waiting since like 10 o'clock and the appoinyment was at 11:30. I couldn't wait. I texted her five minutes ago but she still wasn't out here. It's 10:55. Itll take us about 45 minutes to get there so we should leave right about now.
I decided to text her one more time.
Sophia, I am outside and we have an appointment at 11:30. Hurry up.
Maybe I should add please?
I will.
Sophia, I am outside and we have an appointment at 11:30. Hurry up. Please.
I was almost immediately presented with a reply from her.
I hope you're joking. The appointment is at 11, NEXT week. Now, I'm going back to sleep. Thxs.
I reread the text before letting out a groan. Was the appointment really next week? I could have sworn my calendar said Monday, as in today. I scrolled through my phone, looking for my calendar apps. I got to this date and it was only filled for my meeting, however, next Monday did have a time slot filled for 'Baby Appointment' at the same time Sophia said.
Shit.
Good job, Alex.
Sophia's POV
I peeked out the window again, hoping that that really was not Alexander's car that I saw out front a few minutes ago. All I could see was the mans hair, but I knew just from that one look that it was Alexander's.
Why was he here?
I watched a little bit longer, just to see him look around. He threw his head back and shortly, I heard my phone go off. I damn near sprinted across the room to receive it. I steadied myself on the wall as I picked it up off the side of the couch.
I am outside.
The text from Alexander read. I began to text back, only to see Crissy text me. I immediately tapped the message, completely forgetting about Alexander.
Panera today? Chance is off.
Was I in the mood for Panera?
Yes. I was. I quickly typed 'yes' before deciding to get something to eat. I put my phone in the top of my shirt and walked towards my kitchen.
I didn't have anything to do today, except Panera Bread with Crissy and Chance. I still didn't have any pregnancy cravings, atleast I don't think I did. My stomach was getting bigger though. If I didn't look pregnant three weeks ago, I definitely did now. It wasn't even subtle. It was like I skipped a whole stage and went straight to the 'waddling' stage. My stomach was now stopping me from giving a good hug. People are now asking me 'are you due soon? boy or girl?' when I'm not even due for another 5+ months.
I grabbed a muffin out of the container I had, unwrapping it as my phone went off again. I took a bite before reading the text.
Sophia, I am outside and we have an appointment at 11:30. Hurry up. Please.
What?
I thought the appointment was NEXT Monday? I looked on my fridge, seeing the printout that I made and I was correct. The appointment was next Monday. I quickly typed a reply, telling him that the appointment was next week. Quickly, I made my way to the window, just in time to see him drive away.
I took the last bite of my muffin and threw the wrapper away before defunding to get dressed for my day. I could delay seeing Alexander for a week and I was glad.
After my shower, I threw on some clothes and I was out the door. I decided to drive to Panera Bread and reserve seats for us. I got us a booth while I had Crissy and I's orders ready to be made when she got here. I sat and doodles on my phone as I waited for them. It wasn't long after I had our orders requested that I heard Chances laugh. I turned around, seeing him throwing his head back. I could see Crissy since the entrance was right by the 'to-go' shelves, so she was probably too short to even be seen.
I turned back around, looking into the booth. I should probably wave them over.
I stood up, a wide smile on my face as I put my hand up, only for me to shoot it back down and feel my face red.
Why did they bring him?
Alexander was walking in right behind Chance, a scold on his face. I immediately sat back down and I heard Crissy call my name. Instead of turning around, I held two fingers up. I could feel the heat radiating from my face. I ran a hand down my face as I tried to cool it down. I'm sure my face look as red as a tomato from miles away.
Crissy truly set me up.
"Hey, Sophia." Crissy greeted, sliding into a booth across from me. I slid down, praying Chance came and sat next to me. "Hey Cris." I mumbled before removing my hand and was graced by God when Chance slid in next to me.
"Hey, Matthews." Chance said to me, a slight smirk on his face. I offered a small smile before looking up at Alexander. He stared hard at Chance before nodding towards me. He slid in next to Crissy, picking up the menu.
"I already ordered Crissy and I's. I didn't know what you wanted and I didn't know he was coming." I whispered to Chance. He nodded before picking up the menu.
"I just want macaroni and cheese w-"
"Would you have not came if you did know?" Alexander's first words since he been here we're loud and demanded a answer.
"No, just a heads up would be nice." I said, looking at Crissy who was smiling. I rolled my eyes before sinking into my seat. The table was silent, it was annoying.
"So... did David text you back?" Crissy asked.
"How'd you know about that?" I immediately asked, confused. He had sent me a 'hey' yesterday, but I completely blew it off. I didn't know why he was texting me out of the blue.
"So, he did?" She smiled.
"Yes," I said, offering my phone. "he just said hey." I explained looking up towards Chance and Alex.
Alex seemed like he was in a bad mood, because he was glaring at the table. Chance seemed relax while Alexander seemed tense.
"Who's David?"
"Sophia's new neighbor. You remember the boy who came to the door Thursday? He had brown moppy curls? He's like your height and he has brown eyes. He was wearing jeans and like a olive green jacket? He's cute. We are going to hang out Wednesday." Crissy rambled as I played with my shirt. She talks way too much.
As I looked down, I could feel eyes on me. Crissy was still rambling about David, probably to Chance. It was most likely Alex staring at me. I looked up at him. His gaze soften buthe still looked upset.
"Yes?" I asked. I didn't mean to sound rude but Im sure I did.
"I didn't say nothing."
"You're staring."
"You ignore my presence." He said, sounding wounded.
"Does that hurt your ego? Not everybody is going to acknowledge your 'presence' just because you're Alexander Parker. Who cares?" I said this because, who was he to get mad at me for ignoring his presence? Who even says that? He didn't say a word to me and now he expects me to speak?
He just rolled his eyes before speaking sarcastically. "Hey Sophia! How's the pregnancy? How is our child?"
Our child.
That's so weird.
Alexander and I made a whole child. It probably was going to get nothing from me. Alexander was such a dominant person, his sperm was probably even more dominant.
"Hey Alexander! It's going great! No bad symptoms or anything." My voice matched his tone of sarcasm while I pressed my hand against the top of the table. I hadn't noticed that Crissy and Chance calmed down and were now watching our exchange. Chance put his hand onto mine, a silent gesture to calm down, before looking towards Crissy.
"Crissy, how about you and Sophia go get you guys meals? Okay. Go." He asked in a demanding voice. Crissy darted eyes from Chance to me, while Alex glared at me with a clenched jaw.
Chance began to stand up, slowly pulling me out. Crissy climbed over the booth, ignoring Alex. She grabbed my hand and dragged me to the register. I looked back, seeing Chance scoot down to where I was sitting and beginning to talk to the hardheaded devil that I got impregnated by.
"Crissy! Why didn't you tell me he was coming?"
"Because I just figured you'd just know since that is like Chances best friend and your baby's father. Besides, if I told you, you'd throw a fit and not come!" She said, stepping into the line. She crossed her arms before turning to look at me.
Of course I would have not come. I don't want to spend every waking moment with him.
I rolled my eyes before looking up. They were about seven people in front of us, trying to get their food as well. I began picking at my nails out of anger and boredom.
"Sophia, you guys can't just ignore each other forever..."
"It's not about ignoring each other, it's about having nothing to do with each other besides this thing in here!" I snapped, pointing towards my stomach. A few heads turned around at the sound of my angry voice and I could see Crissy peaking over me to where Alexander and Chance were.
"Their looking. Chance is getting up. Alex is getting up. They are walking over here right now. Way to go." She congratulated me as I began speaking in a hushed tone.
"He's a asshole. He's overbearing."
"You like him though!"
"I don't."
"You said you would pay to have s*x with him again."
"Because he's good in bed! That has nothing to do with his personality. His ego is bigger than his dick... and my head. Combined."
"That's a pretty big ego." Crissy teased. We stepped up in line since there were only three people left in front of us.
"Agreed." Chance's deep voice said from behind me. I jumped slightly at his sudden voice before pushing Crissy as forward as she can go without hitting the couple in front of us.
"Crissy." Alexander voice called. I stared ahead, ignoring their conversation and impatiently waiting for the employees to call my name.
I stepped up as the last couple left, leaving Crissy and I at the counter.
"Names." The gentleman asked, looking up at Crissy and I.
"Sophia and C-" I started to point at Crissy who was standing next to me, but I was cut off by my surprise of having to look up and the smooth deep voice.
"and Alex."
"Okay, Sophia, you had the cheddar and broccoli soup with a bread bowl? Correct?" I nodded my head and watched as the guy behind the counter turned around, going through the four prepared meals. "Alexander Parker?" He asked, looking back at us.
"That is I." Alex said, staring straight at the guy. The employee pulled a bag off the rack and placed it on the counter in front of Alex. He slid another bag in front of me before saying "thank you for eating at Panera Bread."
I took my bag and walked back to my seat. I sat on the outside so that Alex couldn't sit next to me but that obviously didn't work when he began to just push me down the seat. "Can you stop?"
"Why are you here?" I retorted, looking at him. He rolled his eyes before looking into the bag.
"Lunch."
"Alex." I said, exasperated. "Sophia." He responds, sounding amused.
I rolled my eyes before pulling my bow of soup out the bag and the bread. The bread was a large ball of bread that had the middle dug out, making it a bowl. I removed the top from the bowl that contained the soup before pouring it into the bread bowl. I threw my trash into the bag that I got the food out of before grabbing a spoon of my napkin.
"Maya misses you."
"I miss her too." I said, taking my first bite. It was hot.
"Come to my place afterwards so she can see you."
"Can't. I'm busy."
"Hanging with David?" He asked, peeling a piece of bread off and tossing it into his mouth. I rolled my eyes, beginning to eat my soup and watching as Chance and Crissy made their way back over here. They both sat, Crissy slid her half a sand which and bowl of macaroni and cheese down so she'd sit across me. Chance slid in with the same thing and a tall drink.
"What're we talking about?"
"Nothing." I answered at the same time Alexander said, "David." With a amused voice.
I rolled my eyes again, which was becoming a habit around Alex.
"Hey! Sophia, do you wanna come over to my place later or would you still rather watch paint dry?"
"Paint dry?" Chance asked curiously as he shoved a spoon of the white macaroni and cheese into his mouth. "She's has to paint her bedroom back to white since she's going to have to move out soon." Crissy said, frowning down at her meal. I shoveled some soup in my mouth to prevent me from talking. Chance looked across from him before darting his confused eyes back to me. He c****d a eyebrow before stating a question: "what does she mean? You got evicted?"
I shook my head 'no' and chewed the piece of broccoli that sat in my mouth.
"Then what does she mean, Sophia?" Alexander's tempting voice said, smoothly as he picked at the small piece of bread he now had in his hand. I sent Crissy a glare for putting me in this conversation before swallowing the soup I had stored in my cheeks.
"Nothing. I'm just painting my bedroom because I'm bored." I gave Crissy a pointed look so she knew not to continue this any further but, of course, Crissy had to not acknowledge my silent pleadings.
"No, aren't you moving back to California? You said you were painting your bedroom so that when it was one for you to move back for that job, you wouldn't have much to do." She spilled, causing my to stuff a large piece of bread into my mouth as she shrugged carelessly. I kicked her under the table and she looked up at me with a.. slight smile? She looked like she wanted to see me suffer as she finished her sandwich.
"I hope she's playing. Is she playing, Sophia?" Alexander said as he balled the fist that was closer to me. I shrugged before slowly beginning to chew.
"Look, I have the text in here somewhere." Crissy said, scrolling through her phone. I kicked her again before frowning at her actions. She was passing her phone to Alexander.
"I have to paint my room tomorrow. When I move back home, I want to be able to do it as quick as possible." Alexander read aloud. His head turned towards mine before he gave me a death stare. I knew I was in deep s**t now.
"Not while you're pregnant." Was all he said as he dismissed the conversation.
What?
