S**T S**T S**T
And I know they are going to say I told you so.
ughhhh, F**K.
I start the car and speed out of the parking lot. I get out of the city quickly without getting stop by the police. Once I make it to the country roads of conroe I press the gas to the floor. I'm going to have to call daddy soon because I'm not going to make it. To make matters worse I know I smell like Sebastian, I have scent all over my skin. Dad is definitely going to lose his s**t when he smells me. Maybe I should call mom instead of dad, she will be able to calm him down before he comes and get me. He's going to have to change to be able to get to me quicker, to make matters worse it's freaking daylight. What the f**k was I doing being so reckless, I know for sure they are going to be all over my a** like white on rice with this situation.
"Call Mom" I say into my trucks bluetooth.
Before the phone could ring good my mom is picking up. "Lani, Are you okay? What's wrong?" She asked sounding worried. She always knows when something is wrong.
"Ummm... Nothing at the moment. I'm alright, j-j-just driving home."
"o-o-okayy." She says.
"Mommy, I kinda ran out of meat a-a-a-and I can feel the hunger pains coming back. I-I-I'm sooo sorry." I start crying. "You and daddy were right, and I was wrong, I-I-I s-s-s-should have never w-w-w-went to school today." I manage to say through the tears.
"Oh kaikamahine pēpē(baby girl), Please don't cry okay, dad is leaving right now. Where exactly are you?
"A-a-a-almost b-b-by t-t-the woods." I stutter. I'm not even halfway home.
"Okay sweetie, try to pull over right now and stay there until your dad gets there. He is bringing some meat for you, okay? e ʻoluʻolu mai uwē ʻoe i kuʻu ipo(please don't cry my love), we are not mad at you. Sometimes you have to learn things the hard way."
"B-b-b-but that's not all though mama." I say trying to hold back tears.
"What else seems to be the problem?" She ask after being silent for a while.
I finally am able to pull off to the side in the woods and park the car to stay out of sight. "I-I-I Smell l-l-like Sebastian. Daddy was so right about that situation as well. I really messed up big time mama, i just couldn't control myself with my temper and then Sebastian found me. One thing led to another and my goodness it happened mama."
"oh pēpē, Please try and calm down, okay? You're fine and that's all that really matters to us, I mean things like this happens when you are close to your change. I mean Lani he's your mate so it was bound to happen pēpē. As long as he didn't hurt you, you are fine. Did he mistreat you or hurt? Because if he did then that changes everything.
"No, oh God no mama he didn't hurt or mistreat me, I mean of course it hurt because I lost my virginity but it wasn't his fault, He was actually really sweet and gentle with me. makuahine(Mama) I'm so sorry and I'm sure you don't want the details."
"First of don't do that Leilani. Of course I want details! You can always tell me any and everything, and you know that. I'm pretty sure your Pāpā doesn't want to particularly want to hear it so I'll just block him for a few minutes.... Soooo how was it?"
"After the first few minutes.. makuahine(Mama) it was amazing."
"Just amazing?" She asked sounding disappointed.
"It was really amazing makuahine(Mama)." I say shaking my head.
"Oh well that's great, I was worried for a second there. Did he know it was your first time?"
"umm... Not until after..."
"WHAT!!??"
"It wasn't his fault at all mama, I kinda made him do it. It was like I needed it like I need air... AHHHHH, it's hurts so bad." I say grabbing the steering wheel.
"Daddy is almost there, Just wait a few more minutes pēpē, He can sense you. Not much longer baby girl, just try and breathe through the pain. You might pass out before your dad gets to you, but please don't worry, okay? As soon as you wake up we will have the meat here waiting on you."
"O-o-o-okay." I manage to say through the pain. "Mommy it hurts s-s-s-so b-b-bad...."
"E pēpē pēpē, e kala mai iaʻu no ka nui o kou ʻeha. ʻIno wau i ka hoʻolohe ʻana iā ʻoe e like me kēia, haki maoli nō koʻu puʻuwai. E kala mai iaʻu ʻaʻole hiki iaʻu ke hele a kiʻi iā ʻoe iho, akā kokoke ka makua kāne i laila pēpē no laila e paʻa wale ʻoe." (Oh baby girl, I'm so sorry you are in so much pain. I hate hearing you like this, it really breaks my heart. I'm so sorry I couldn't come and get you myself, but daddy is almost there baby so just hold on.)
"T-t-the car I-I-is spinning makuahine." I stutter.
"He's almost there." Mom voice fades.
"Do not worry Leilani, Jeremiah is here now and I will take your pain away." I hear Elena say sounding like an angel. "Rest now my child." She says just as I hear my daddy opening my car door. I suddenly lose my grip on reality.
