"Babygirl wares is more settled now than I ever known us to be, but of course there are always some type of danger to us that's hidden. It's even more dangerous for us because there is always someone who thinks they can challenge us."

"I know daddy, I also know it might seems that I don't be listening or seem interested when you talk business. But I do listen and take everything in."

"I know princess, but don't worry about that right now. Okay?" He says turning around looking at me.

"I'll try not to." I say. It's kinda hard not to think about especially since I'm not just going to be a werewolf

(Later that night)

After my midnight craving of meat I lie in bed fulling full staring at the ceiling in my own little world, my curtains are half way open so the moonlight is shining through and illuminating the space around me. While listening to Sabrina Claudio- Standing Still I follow the swirls on the ceiling around and around, smaller and smaller then bigger and bigger. I should try to get some sleep but I know my cravings will be back soon. My mind drifts off to Sebastian, I can't stop thinking about him and what we did. The more I think about it the more I remember how good it felt and how much I want to do it again.

Unfortunately due to the fact that's he's probably all over Breanna right now my soaring arousal is dull right now. I feel my good mood slowly sleep away and replaced by anger and jealousy. I know I have no right to feel like this but I just can't help it. I can't make him leave Breanna, he has to want to do that all on his own.. mates or not. I'm happy my change is coming soon because I so desperately need a distraction, but the thought of being locked up in the house and away from Sebastian is making depressed. 

F**k.. I roll over on my stomach but sigh into my pillow when I hear my phone vibrates on the nightstand. I turn over and grab my phone and see I have a new text message from a number that's not saved in my phone. I unlock my phone and click on the message.

You awake shorty?

I try to figure out who's texting me when I see a name suggestion and a Picture of a BMW. My heart stops when I see Sebastians name. I'm shocked and also surprised that he has my number. I wonder how he got it?

Sebastian? How did you get my number?

Don't worry about that lil mama I have my ways. What you got goin?

Really? Is he serious right now?

I giggle at that because he really thinks I put some type of spell or voodoo on him.

Sebastian I didn't do anything to you, I'm not a witch....... At least not yet. I text back, I know I was kinda pushing it when I added the last part.

You got jokes? Here I was thinking you were joking. he says with the eye rolling and laughing emoji.

I'm serious, I don't play or joke about things like that. I reply.

I have a question. He replies, after a while he starts typing again. Do you regret what we did?

No I don't

I don't think that's possible right now, I'm kinda on lockdown. My change is coming remember?

I should be real careful with what I tell him, but if he's really my mate then him accepting me shouldn't be a problem right? I mean what my parents said about mates should be correct? It wouldn't freak or scare him too much.

Leilani I'm dead**, I really need to see you. I don't what is going on with me but the more I do things with you the more it f**ks with my head. He replies back quickly.

My phone starts ringing while in my hand, Now he wants to call me. Should I answer?

(Phone Conversation)

"Hello?"

"I want to see you, no scratch that I need to see you Leilani." He says in his deep and rough voice. it makes my pulse quicken and my arousal spike because I instantly think of how he sounded when we had s*x. 

After taking a deep breathe and focusing on the fact the he's probably alone I say. "I'm sorry, I told you I won't be able to see you a while."

"Why? Please help me understand."

"Look I done told yo a** enough times aight? It's yo problem if you don't believe me when I tell you these things."

"Leilani." He sighs then goes quiet for a couple seconds. "I don't think you really understand lil mama, I need to see you."

"Look I'll see what I can do, Okay? But I ain't making no promises." I say in defeat, he's breaking my walls down already. 

"Okay." 

"So Where Breanna at?"  I dare to ask.

"At your cousin house."

"Sebastian, we can't do this."

"What the f**k you want me to do? Leave her?"

"Why you asking me that? She yo girlfriend." I say trying to keep myself calm.

"I only moved here because of Breanna. I don't even really know shorty. And you Ain;t really giving me anything to....."

"F**k you mean? I've given you a lot Sebastian." I whisper yell into the phone.

"I didn't..."

"Yeah whatever." I say before hanging up and putting my phone on do not disturb before putting it back on my nightstand.

The thing that's pissing me off about all of this is that I don't know what to do with him, but I know one thing for sure I definitely want to see him. I pick back up my phone and see that he sent m another text. I open the message

Yo wassup with all the attitude of all of a sudden? 

I just stare at the message for a few seconds before shaking my head. I don't know how many times I have to tell this boy.

He starts typing again. I can see you read my message Lani.

Just get some sleep. And I hope you have a great day at school tomorrow. I text back smiling at the phone. After sending the message I sit my phone back on the nightstand and force myself to lay down and go to sleep.

(12:00 PM)

I wake up and notice that I slept in late due to waking up every two to three hours to satisfy my raw meat craving. I grab my phone to check it and see I have a message from Sebastian from last night.

Let me know when I can see you baby girl.

I gotta find out my parents plans, but I don't know if or when I'll be able to so I don't reply. So I get out of the bed and put on my robe so I can go look for them. After searching the the house for them I finally find them in the backyard. I see daddy dragging a huge deer out of the wood while my mommy was attending to the memory garden. The sun was out but it was still cold as brick outside so I wrap the robe around me tighter before I walking over to my mom.

"Hey mama, How are you feeling?" I ask her.

"Big as a house, You?"

"I'm okay I guess. Just tired and hungry. Not moody... at least now yet."

"Well that's good." She says while smiling and pulling up some weeds from the stones.

"I guess so."

"Your scent is even stronger now, It's overpowering everything." She says after sniffing the air. "Let's go get something to eat from your dad. Fresh meat is the best type of meat." She says getting up.

We walk over to dad who's still in his Ware form cutting up the deer with his claws. He's kneeling but he is basically the same height as me and mom. I mean I know we ain't the tallest but that just let's you know even in ware form and kneeling that daddy is still huge. He starts growling saying something that I can't understand yet. Once I have my change I'll be able to understand werewolf growls and other sounds we make as well.

"He asked if you were hungry." Mom says translating.

"Of course, when am I not hungry these days."

Clearly dad found my comment amusing because he bares his teeth before tearing a strip of meat off of the deers neck. I'm sure this would gross other people out but to me it's not gross at all because I grew around it and it's a normal thing to me. The best part about leaving in this is the fact that we a lot of privacy, our house is I the middle of nowhere. We have no neighbors for miles and we are nowhere need the main roads. After dad hands me the meat I bite into and pull it between my teeth. The meat is super tender which makes it easy to tear apart, I quickly chew and feel the blood dripping down my chin. I welcome the taste because it's a change from the beef i'be been eating, but deer meat doesn't have a lot of fat on it.

I pop the last piece of meat in my mouth and lick my lips as daddy hands me another chunk. I hear bones cracking and see that mom has changed into her ware form. She start growling as she starts eating with dad. He clothes lie on the floor beneath her shredded.

"So Sebastian got my number somehow." I tell them while sitting on the grass. I look up to see that they're staring at me with their large, dark eyes. "I honestly don't know how he got it but he's asking to see me, he keeps saying that he can't stop thinking about me. I told him I will see what I can do, I also told him things are kinda complicated right now. He swear up and down that I put a spell or voodoo on him." I say with a small laugh.

Mom starts making a noise that makes it sound like she's laughing, then she suddenly howls softly before shifting back to her human form. I look down and stare at my meat so I don't look at her naked body. I mean don't get me wrong my mama has a banging a** body, but I don't want to look at her naked.

"That's so funny, I can't believe he things you put a spell on him. Does he really think you put some type of voodoo on him?" She says laughing.

"Yeah, It seems that way." I say laughing.

"Your dad wants to know if you thought about telling him the truth about you?"

"I mean I thought about it about it and I mean I tried a few times, but I don't know if he takes me as a joke or if he believes me."

Mom and dad look at each other and I know that they are having a conversation in their minds. She faces me again and says. "Dad says he's happy that you're started to lay down the ground work on your own. As much as he thinks it's a joke, when he finds out it won't be as shocking hopefully."

"Hope so... I just don't know when it's a good time to tell him properly. I mean we really don't know s**t about each other we haven't had a proper conversation since we first kissed. The only thing I know is that I really really like him but apart from that I know nothing.

"Well,,, Why don't you try and spend some time with him?"

"Seriously Mamãe, todos nós sabemos que não posso fazer isso, posso?( we all know I can't do that, Now can I?) My birthday is in two days and I'm pretty sure if I spend some time with him now that there will be any talking involved."

Dad huffs.

"Convide-o para jantar esta noite, apenas veja o que ele diz." (Invite him over for dinner tonight, Just see what he says.) She says before looking back at daddy.

My phone starts vibrating in my pocket so I grab it and see I have a text from Sebastian.

"It's Sebastian." I tell my parents.

I miss you staring holes in the back of my head shorty.

I shake my head laughing, before I start smiling like Cheshire Cat.

"O que ele disse?" (What did he say?) Mom asks.

"He says he misses being stared at." 

Dad makes another sound that I can't make out.

"Lei, ask him to come over for dinner. Your dad wants to meet him anyway, and that way we are close by of your moods gets out of control." Mom says.

"Ma, it's not just the anger I'm worried about." I say blushing.

Before I can say anything else she says. "We can move you to your uncle Josiah olds room, dad said." 

"WHAT!? Y'all are going to give me a soundproof room?" I asked shocked as h*ll.

"Yes baby girl, I know we are your parents but we also know that s*x is a massive part of being a ware" She says rolling her eyes. "I swear Leilani, you need to get over your embarrassment about it. It is perfectly normal and healthy, we've been there and done that. If anything it is safer for him to be intimate with you now then after your change. These might just be your last few days to have s*x with him safely. Especially if you don't know where are if you are going to change him."

"Change him?" I ask looking confused before I realize what she's talking about. F**k, I forgot about that.

"Yes, it will have to be you who changes him, or won't it? I'm pretty sure you don't want anyone else to change him. correct?" She ask frowning at me.

"H*ll No." I snap, then I gasp and cover my mouth after realizing my mistake. "I'm so sorry mama, I don't know where that came from." 

"Está tudo bem, querido." (It's okay baby). She says grabbing my hand. "Just text him and let us know, Okay? Once he gives you an answer we can decide on what to cook for dinner."
