She was laying unconsciously in bed when Gabriel caresses her hair backwards saying “Get well soon” he gives her a perk on the forehead before leaving the room. As soon as he walks out of the hospital, Iris flickers her eyes open unaware of where she is, but the beeping sound and the familiar smell of the hospital hits her.
She gently seats up on the bed looking left and right as if she is expecting someone to be watching over her. Unfortunately, no one is around not even Gabriel and that saddens her. She waits for a while hoping someone will get in vain.
Just when she has given up, Naya Orissa enters with a tray with chicken soup and hot tea to feed her. “You're finally awake. You had every one of us worried” She calmly smiles as she takes a seat near Iris’s bedside.
