Mom pointed, “Ralph, my man, admit it; you’d yell, growl, shift BE PISSED that they stopped looking for you if they knew you weren’t dead.” Grandpa Ralph agreed, “I would. Alpha Tucker Thomas’s family never stopped looking for him and he was declared dead.”

Who? Mom made a face, “Wolves. I’m telling you guys, that’s where it’s at.” The nurse agreed, “It is.” I teased, “Maybe date one then, mom.” Mom giggled, “Go away before I tell you who I think is so hot! He’s taken. It’s never happening.” Mom whispered to the nurse, “But he’s SO HOT. Like SO HOT!” Everyone started laughing.

Grandpa Ralph said, “Ok, visiting hours are over. I’ve got Piper in the main house, Hazel.” Mom cooed, “Because you’re so much better than her blood grandpa’s. Pernell’s dad would probably lock the doors and make her sleep outside. Because he wants me to shoot him in the face.” Sora was laughing again in my head.

Mom waved, “My dad, well he’d say this was my fault and try to take Piper from me.” My noise of anger combined with Sora’s. I said, “He can’t do that because I made sure he wouldn’t.” Mom grinned, “I know. It’s probably a bad thing I’m so happy about that.”

I shook my head, “No, they don’t get us so they don’t get to be around us.” Mom threw her arms open, “I love you, Piper.” I went and hugged her. Sora took over to whisper, “No one will ever take you from us, mom.” Mom hugged tighter saying, “I love you too, Sora.”

I pulled back and mom gently tapped my cheek, “I’m so glad you were a kitsune, Sora, and not an evil bat human sized creature. I’d still love you, but Sora is way cuter than those creepy ass bat people.” That had everyone laughing again.

Braxton took my hand while Grandpa Ralph stayed behind to talk to mom. I went to see Remi. I asked, “Why are you in a hospital room?” Kyle growled, “Because she’s staying overnight.” Grandpa wolf was making order there.

Beckett added, “Then when Remi goes for a run, I’m coming.” Karl growled, “Or me.” Sora teasingly said, “I think he means and me.” Yeah, I did too. Remi snorted, “You guys are so cute. Listen to them, Piper.”

I teased, “You’re so independent and they know it.” Remi laughed, “My phone is blowing up. The story hit the airwaves. All our teammates, club and school panicked. The coaches even texted me and called mom. I have to stay out of practice Wednesday.”

Remi made a face, “It was reported I have a concussion from blunt force trauma. It’s already healed, but our coach is human so meh.” She stuck her tongue out. I laughed, “You can come though. Everyone will love to see you and probably fawn over you.” Remi grinned, “You’re right. I can sit there and judge people. That is my favorite past time.” Everyone busted up laughing.

I hugged her and whispered, “I’m so glad you’re ok.” Remi hugged me tightly, “Thanks for being my ride or die. Happy to be of service unlocking your new power. It’s bad ass.” I assured her, “People need to stop being all dramatic so I find out new powers. First the kid, now you.”

Beckett snorted, “Afreakingmen.” Braxton led me out of the hospital and to the main house. We sat on the couch. Sora snorted, “Based on his wolf’s questions, we are about to talk about Prom.” Ugh. Mom! No, it was morphine’s fault. Sora agreed, “That is quite true.”

Braxton cleared his throat. I answered, “Yes, I want to have s*x after Prom.” Braxton smirked at me, “Is that so?” I straddled him, answering, “Yes, I want my first time to be with you.” His lips met mine and we started making out.

The Alpha snorted, “Really? On the couch in the living room? Not even in the guest room.” We pulled apart. Braxton chuckled, “Sorry, Alpha.” The Alpha scoffed, “You sound it. This girl is like my niece.” Braxton replied, “I respect her.” The Alpha said, “Good. Get off my damn couch.” Sora huffed, “Everyone is a cockblocker.”

One of the Omega’s showed up to my room. Braxton pulled me inside and urged, “Go shower, I’ll wait out here.” I asked, “Can you stay with me tonight? Everything just feels…” I trailed off.

Braxton said, “You’re going to shower, I’ll get you food because you used a power. The kitchen is working on your favorites right now. Then we will go to bed. I won’t let anything happen to you, Piper.”

I didn’t want to see that evil guy in my place. Sora scoffed, “I only used one power. He can’t get in.” Braxton asked, “What’s wrong?” I winced, “There’s this guy who wants me and after the last time I used two powers, he got in before Sora could kick him out.”

Braxton growled, “In where?” I answered, “My head.” Braxton tucked my hair behind my ear, “I won’t let him hurt you, Piper. Even if you were just the girl who saved our Gamma’s daughter today. You may not be mine, but I care about you.” I kissed him again then went and showered. I put my hair up because I wasn’t washing it. I got the blood off me though.

I walked out and saw Braxton in just his shorts. My eyes went over his form. Sora purred, “We are s****l beings, Piper. Lick his abs.” I followed her advice and hovered over him to lick his abs.

His eyes opened in a flash and he growled. I slid his shorts off and licked him up and down. This wasn’t our first time doing this, and I knew what he liked. When he came he flipped me and our lips locked again. I moaned into his mouth as his fingers played with me.

Then he jumped down between my thighs. He used his mouth and fingers to give me three orgasms before he stopped. Braxton whispered, “You were such a good girl today, you deserve all the orgasms."

I smiled lazily at him. Braxton chuckled, “Now, let’s get you food. Your mom wants us to take care of you, and it’s the least we can do.” I snorted, “I don’t know about that, you guys gave her morphine.” Braxton laughed, “That was funny.” I nodded.

Braxton whispered, “Hey.” I sighed, “My people are kind of awful. My dad is their Tenko and they left him. What are they doing to others?” I looked up into his eyes and whispered, “What if they have a Remi?” I flinched thinking of someone leaving Remi still in that cube.

Braxton cupped my face again, “Then they suck and I’ll say that to their face. Your mom wasn’t wrong, that was bullshit that they left him to be hurt. Packs would never do that if we thought someone was alive.”

I whispered, “I know.” Braxton said, "Maybe you will meet them and be the attitude change they need.” Sora agreed, “I do like that idea.” Braxton said, “You can show them what being a true leader does. Our Alpha’s entire family was out there looking for Remi.”

He winked, “Super cool new power by the way.” I snorted, “They do come at the most opportune times.” Braxton shrugged, “There’s not much blood lying around you’d be touching.” I asked, “How did the athletic director knock her out?”

Braxton growled, “He knew she was a werewolf. He used a silver weapon and injected her with a little wolfsbane. Enough her wolf was out.” I huffed, “Asshole.” Braxton agreed, “Major asshole.” He led me downstairs where I attacked all my comfort foods. The sushi was first.

Once I finished I hugged the entire Alpha family. Kyle cleared his throat and I gave him a hug last. He asked, “Can I talk to you outside, Piper?” I nodded and followed him. We sat on the porch swing together.

Kyle said, “You saved my grandpup today. That man was going to steal her life.” I reasoned, “You’d have found her.” Kyle said, “I don’t know how Sora smelled her blood. We didn’t smell Remi there. We trusted you when you said you saw him take her, then shouted you’d found her. We had no reason to infiltrate his land because Remi’s scent wasn’t there.”

I frowned, “I actually didn’t smell her once we got her out. Sora smelled her blood.” Kyle said, “Her scent came back an hour ago.” Sora boasted, “We are special.” I reasoned, “You’d have found her.”

Kyle said, “That man would’ve left at the end of the year. It’s what he’s done everywhere he’s taken a girl. He had a job in Florida lined up.” I pointed out, “That would’ve made him pop on your radar though.”

Kyle whispered, “That’s months we would’ve been tortured without Remi. You have a boon from our family.” I shook my head, “No, she’s my best friend.” Kyle said, “I don’t care, you need us, you call Piper. We will come. Remi has no memory other than pain to her head. We have the memories. Beckett felt like he failed his sister, but Remi’s here now. He’s got eyes on her.”

Kyle faced me, “I cannot accurately put into words what you did for our family. Families all over this country are being reunited because you found Remi. You did a hell of a lot of good today, and I will never be able to thank you enough for it. Your mom is right. She raised a hell of a woman. You and Sora prove that Kitsunes are cultivating a culture of a lackadaisical mindset.”

“No one had to tell either of you to act. You were off and running to the racing. That’s where your instincts and Sora’s took you. To look, to hunt, to find. They are denying those instincts thinking they need people on paths.”

Kyle squeezed my leg, “I believe one day you’ll meet them, and on that day you stop that cycle. You hear?” I nodded, “I do. I hate that attitude they took about my dad. I would’ve found him. I wouldn’t have given up.” I faltered and he glanced sharply at me.

Sora said, “Alpine should be fine.” Yeah, but we didn’t know that. Kyle asked, “What’s on your mind?” I whispered, “What if he’s missing now? What if they just don’t care?” Kyle advised, “Let’s not borrow trouble. I’m sure your dad is ok. I think Sora would know if he wasn’t. All the wolves in our family knew something had happened to Remi.”

Sora said, “I agree. I think Alpine is fine.” I admitted, “I’m a little irrationally mad he never found me.” Kyle said, “I think that’s more than fair.” I snorted, “Not really. He doesn’t know I exist.” Kyle shrugged, “Feelings aren’t always rationale, kiddo. Go on inside. That’s twice you’ve saved this pack a lot of heartache. We won’t forget it.” He ruffled my hair.

I sat outside with him, not moving yet. Just looking at the stars wondering if our father ever did this. Sora said, “I’m sure he does.” We may not have him, but we have our mom. Sora agreed, “We do and she is a bad ass.” She had taken on a Supernatural without blinking today. I nodded to Kyle and walked inside with a smile on my face.

We are in our volleyball era. Gotta say I'm so ready for this one (I played through college). REMI IS HERE! She's hilarious. We have GILF's and a traumatized Piper over the thought LOL. Piper has a boy and she's going to prom. It's so hard to Hazel to grasp the safe s*x talk doesn't need to happen really. Piper can't get any disease or pregnant outside her rut.

Remi gave us quite the excitment and a new Supernatural. Hazel's research came in handy. Without Piper they would not have found Remi. Hazel never questioned Piper and was just on the road with her. Hazel went into full on momma bear mode and took on a Supernatrual.

They had to call the authorities because humans had been taken. Thankfully, they remember nothing. Do you think Karl is Remi's? Braxton seems nice! Doesn't he? Sora DID NOT like a cop repremanding her LOL Hazel was on morphine and dropping secrets. Piper was up in the main house and Braxton stayed with her. One thing we know is Hazel is definately a bad ass.
