Normal Times Pt. 3

Did I care? Nope. Not me. Not one bit. Preston took me to his hotel room. My boyfriend asked, “Do you pick clothes with the express intent to drive me crazy?” I wiggled my eyebrows, “No, but it’s definitely a side bonus.”

Preston growled, “I have something coming up. I won’t be around but I’ll always show up. If you need me, call. I’ll be there.” I frowned, “What are you doing?” Preston sighed, “I have to do something with my family.”

I asked, “Can I come?” Preston tucked my bangs behind my ear, “One day you will be by my side for all these moments.” I frowned, “Just not this time.” Preston growled, “I wish it was different, I really do.”

I asked, “Why do I feel what you’re doing is dangerous.” Preston admitted, “It will be dangerous, but I will be fine.” I demanded, “You’ll stick with William and Julian.” Preston nodded, “I will. Your dad is coming and so is Nathan McD.”

I gripped him tightly admitting, “I can’t lose you, Preston.” Preston assured me, “You won’t and I’m not leaving tomorrow or anything. The date is kind of up in the air, but Melanie thinks the timing sooner rather than later.”

I asked, “Melanie’s going?” Preston nodded. A lot of people were going. I asked, “Is Remi?” Preston said, “Remi won’t go without you and I think you know that.” I gasped, “Is Karl going?” Preston admitted, “He won’t be there like I will, but he will be going at points.”

I bit my lip, “I don’t want anything to happen to you guys. I can go. I’ll be with you.” Preston cupped my face but I saw the no on his face. I growled, “This is about my brain injury.” Preston smirked, “Nice growl, and no. It's about something else.” I demanded to know, “What?”

Preston stared at me then admitted, “Sora.” I gasped, “Are you…?” I trailed off. Preston said, “It’s about Sora not being around, we aren’t going to find Sora.” Disappointment nearly crushed me but I nodded. I demanded, “Make me forget, Preston.” Preston growled, “Gladly.

We are having some fun! BONDING TIME! Piper got to learn more about herself because Melanie literally cannot help herself. Piper was all about it tbh. Piper got to meet Keaton and Odette! He definatley wants Piper there but without Sora he's not going to do that. We are off the Summit and the Dragon War :)
