Preston introduced everyone. Julian linked, “This is hilarious. I love it though.” I replied, “I think we all do.” I linked Elise, “You totally knew Melanie did this.” Elise replied, “She invited me before Val and Anastasia took over inviting people. So, Cassie and I knew. Angela too because she’s Angela. Ergo, TJ also knew. The rest are surprised because Anastasia and Val just told everyone to come. “

It was kind of adorable. I spotted Remi’s mate getting popped in then joined our group. I linked Melanie, “So, how come I can’t tell what Supernatural Anastasia is?” Melanie answered, “So umm… well… science….is the…answer…and magic…Paige helped….so…that’s… it’s very technical and…”

I cut her off, “I got it.” Bernard laughed, “Freya assures me it is actually quite technical.” I replied, “Of that I have literally not doubt.” Piper touched her head and I was instantly worried. Julian linked, “We will rip this damn Ninko to pieces once we get ahold of him.” He’d be stupid to come at me and my family. Something told me he knew that.

Bernard growled, “We will still get him.” I agreed, “Yes, but it’s unlikely to be on the timeline we’d like. He’ll plan.” Bernard chuckled, “He can’t out plan a Fairy.” Not a Fairy with access to werefoxes, Hackura, and Beta wolves.

I linked Alexander, “A professor at the college DAD owns kicked Melanie OUT of class?!” Alexander growled, “Yes, that dumb ass Warlock is in the Hackura realm.” I linked CJ, “Did you know Melanie got kicked out of a college class today?”

CJ replied, “I am in fact talking to Phil about that right now. He reiterated to the college kids that they should link him, his uncle, dad, and Grandpa FIRST before they link Eric and Alexander.” I snorted, “Then they wanted that professor to die because if they wanted a warning, it would’ve gone to the Beta’s first.”

CJ complimented, “I’m so proud you figured that out without me telling you. That is why they linked Alexander and Eric first. The only reason the professor didn’t get his head blown off IMMEDIATELY is because your brother can feel his mate and she wasn’t upset.”

I linked Alexander, “How on earth was Melanie not upset she got kicked out of class for being a genius?” Alexander answered, “She felt it was a throwback to when she was a pup. Plus, she got to correct the syllabus because obviously that’s why the professor of an HONORS class would kick her out.”

I asked, “What was the error?” Alexander snorted, “The word ‘the’ implies it was just one. Let me tell you there were a smattering of errors that dad has RAKED the hiring committee over the coals for. EJ said that I can’t kill them for hiring him.” I nearly laughed out loud.

I reasoned, “Well, Melanie looks like she had fun.” Alexander replied, “It’s really the only reason more people aren’t dead.” I asked, “Is anyone?” Alexander answered, “Not yet. The Warlock wart has to suffer more. He kicked my wife out of the first class she’s been to in this realm since she was in middle school. It was her first real life experience again and he took it from her. I will torture him for SO LONG for that.” Fair enough.

Bernard snorted, “Oden hates this professor.” I replied, “I’m utterly shocked. Do note my sarcasm.” Bernard started laughing. Cassie linked, “Oh my god, she’s adorable. I can’t wait until Sora is back online and we can run.” I couldn’t wait either. Something told me Piper could help with how we ran. Maybe I could get her to train our pack evasive techniques. No one would expect wolves to run like a Kitsune.

I linked Parker, “I’m glad Catelyn and Elizbeth got to join the fun.” Parker laughed, “They wouldn’t have missed it, big brother.” It was nice to see them so happy. I linked Calvin, “From experience something tells me that you’re next.”

Calvin laughed, “I kind of hope so.” I was getting that sense given how things went with me. Alexander had a massive gap from when his group found mates, but all of them should’ve known their mates their whole life if we were being technical.

My parents joined us and I introduced dad since mom knew her. Dad linked me, “I am very happy for you, P. I’m sorry that her memories aren’t intact.” It was still smoother than a human relationship, but I was hopeful Sora would wake up soon.

I linked Melanie, “Will Sora wake up soon?” Melanie squeaked, “Umm soon… is a strong … word…but like Paige and Megan….are looking into it but…” I asked, “Are we talking weeks?” Melanie answered, “We could….be?” I wanted to groan because it was obvious the answer wasn’t weeks. Lovely.

Our group started mingling and I couldn’t help but admire how seamlessly Piper and the new members fit in. I noticed eyes on us. Julian linked, “Our women are getting death glares. It’s setting my teeth on edge. I don’t know how EJ dealt with this.”

I asked, “You’re not going to ask how Alexander does?” Julian snorted, “Anyone who looks at Melanie is being taken out by Gordon or Hutchins who are dressed as security. So, I know how Alexander is handling it. He’s going to kill or warn them depending on what they say when he questions them.”

Alexander was entitled to his hair pin trigger about his wife if we were being honest. EJ had rolled his eyes at a few that had been taken out but he didn’t say anything. Remi took Piper to the bathroom and several of the women left.

Karl said, “This is quite the group.” I replied, “You can always ask me to pop you in.” Karl laughed, “Then Joe and Remi don’t get to their tit for tat and they have such fun with that. Honestly, I’m shocked my mate doesn’t have Fairy blood. Joe is mated to my cousin though so she has fun with it.”

Alexander snarled and started to leave. I asked, “Brother?” Cassie linked, “Chick fight in the bathroom. We’ve got this.” Alexander said, “Melanie said some women are telling Piper she doesn’t deserve you.”

Bernard snarled, “I’ll kill them all. Oden has the right way to go about this.” Hark and Omi faded in. I demanded, “You take those bitches into custody with EXTREME prejudice." Omi said, “Alicee is faded back ready to act if necessary.”

We were waiting outside the women’s bathroom when we heard Melanie shouted, “HIYYYYAAA!” Bernard started cackling when someone started choking. Amusement lit through the bond. I linked Alexander, “Your mate is hilarious at all times.” Alexander grinned, “That she is and all mine.” I inclined my head.

When Piper came out I glanced over her. God damn this dress. Bernard growled, “Claim mate.” I might have to. Remi nodded to me. Piper looked fine. Melanie linked, “They didn’t bother her….or I’d be talking to her….with facts….about jealously… that I totally have.” I laughed, “Of that I have no doubt.”

We made our way to the dance floor. Piper didn’t think she could dance, but all I saw was how her ass moved. I think she could dance. Bernard agreed, “Definitely.” I linked CJ, “Find out what time my mate’s scrimmage is, I’m going.” CJ replied, “Clearing our calendars.” Good.

Everyone watched Melanie dance until my brother lost his battle to lust. Well, he did it first and I obviously had to follow. I linked Julian and William, “Damn our realm and their lack of liking orgies.” Both laughed but I felt their lust rising.

Bernard grumbled, “Stupid Ninko is why we have to walk and not portal or pop.” Yeah, f**k that guy. He was beyond dead when I found him. I’d torture him for a long time, let Uncle Bjourn do so, then blood eagle him.

I took Piper to my office. My woman was clearly into role play so I tucked that into the back of my mind. I could easily set up role playing fantasies for her. This dress was designed to get me hard and she didn’t even have on underwear. Bernard growled, “There is no bra!” I snorted, “Thank god mom used a charm so the dress stays where it falls on her.” Or I’d have to kill everyone outside my mate’s friends and my family for seeing my mate’s breasts.

Good god, not marking her was going to drive me insane. How the hell did Keaton do this? Bernard reasoned, “We can ask Channing.” Yeah, I had a lot of questions and all the respect for my friend. I did before but this was really hard.

Once we finished Piper and I teased each other. The glimpse I was getting at our forever made me smile. I thought we’d go dance but my mate took me on my office chair. I might live in this office because Piper’s scent was now everywhere.

I snapped her hair and outfit back together without her knowing. Bernard snorted, “She’ll see herself in the mirror.” I reasoned, “She won’t know I did it.” Which was annoying because Piper would know if she had her memories.

Bernard grumbled, “Mate would be coming home with us with our mark on her neck if she had her memories.” That was true. I took Piper back out to the dance floor and easily clocked a man who looked at my mate like she was a steak. Bernard started to growl, then he came towards us.

I yanked William and Julian to me because I might kill this guy on the dance floor without them. I linked EJ, “You might want to get here and stop me from PLUCKING THIS WARLOCK’S EYES OUT!” EJ huffed, “I’m on the way.”

The way he spoke to my mate had me changing my mind. EJ linked, “Don’t.” I replied, “I was changing my mind. I think I’ll go with his tongue.” EJ replied, “Not here.” I hummed, “That means I can do it elsewhere.” EJ sighed, “Let’s not do that.”

Then the Warlock kept talking. I linked Melanie, “That guy is dead. I want him in the Hackura realm marked for death.” Melanie replied, “Ok…sure…I was…this is good that you agree… I do like permission… that’s fun…he was on my list.”

I asked, “Why?” Melanie answered, “Uhh I looked into Piper…and I didn’t…. Like him.” I snorted, “Agreed.” Bernard snarled, “WHO IS BRAX?!” I linked Melanie, “Who is Brax?” Melanie answered, “Uhh Braxton is a Warrior….in Karl’s pack…and he was Piper’s…. Uhhhh… well… they had… umm…” I cut her off, “Got it. Is he on the kill list?” Melanie answered, “No… I actually… think that I know who his mate is.”

I snorted, “Great. Get that settled.” Alexander linked, “You told my mate to make sure this guy dies?!” I replied, “Yes.” EJ linked me, “Preston Bjourn Conners!” I growled, “What?” Julian linked me laughing, “You told Melanie to kill this prick.” I replied, “I told who would get it done despite who said no.” Julian replied, “Well played.” I knew that.

EJ groaned, “Melanie said she has PERMISSION from you to kill this guy.” I asked, “And?” EJ sighed, “This is…” I cut him off, “The way the younger groups will get things done. Yes. We know exactly who to go to. We’ve been using the Resistance this way for YEARS. It’s easier now that Melanie is here.”

EJ snorted, “Yes, I know you’ve been working ways for the Resistance to believe Alexander is upset. Hell, sometimes you put situations in front of him so he did get upset and then people died.” I was stunned, “You knew?” EJ replied, “Of course I knew.” Well, he’d let us do it. Clearly, he agreed on some level.

Piper was embarrassed and that wouldn’t do. Benard growled, “I’m telling Freya to make his death worse and that we want to be a part of it.” Good. I was assuring my mate it was ok. I linked Mom, “Are you hearing this Warlock prick?” Mom gasped, “WHAT? Is someone trying to ruin this perfect goddamn night? I will f*****g GUT HIM LIKE A GODDAMN FISH!”

Mom portaled just behind in with dad. Melanie linked, “So…. your mom might kill this guy here and now….that doesn’t have like a low probability….you guys should… probably… go elsewhere…and stuff….in case…he dies….right here and now….but I have a side plan… if that doesn’t happen…don’t worry.” I wasn’t even kind of worried. That Melanie had a plan.

I had Piper back in my office faster than I could comprehend. My mate moaned. Bernard snarled, “MINE!” Piper arched her back and I snapped my pants down to my ankles and slammed into her.

Piper screamed, “PRESTON!” I growled, “You’re so f*****g wet for me because you’re MINE!” Piper agreed, “All yours.” I bit down on her mark hard enough to leave a bruise. Because if everyone couldn’t see my damn name, they’d see a hickey.

Bernard agreed, “Yes.” I had no idea if it would stay because she was a Supernatural but Sora was asleep so maybe it would. Bernard took over and pounded into our mate. I took her all over my office.

Julian linked, “Piper has class and a scrimmage tomorrow, brother.” I growled back. William linked, “P, come on.” I forced myself to only make her come one more time before I came myself. I nuzzled her neck, “Let’s get you home.”

Bernard grumbled, “Our home is her home.” Piper fell asleep against me. I snapped her into her clothes and carried her out where everyone but our family had cleared out of. Dad linked, “Are you good, son?” I answered, “Yes.”

Dad didn’t really look like he believed that. Remi said, “Ok, to the limo!” Karl came with us. Julian raised an eyebrow at me with William but I nodded. Julian linked, “Well be in their apartment with our mates. We have the room right below them.” I snorted, “Of course you do. Thank you.”

They got in the limo with us. Remi playfully punched my shoulder, “I feel like a proud mom right now. You sexed my girl TO SLEEP! That’s not exactly possible unless she’s like super tired. Look at you! That’s so great.”

Karl chuckled, “Remi.” Remi said, “About Brax.” I growled, “Melanie is going to handle that.” Karl questioned, “What does that mean?” Julian laughed, “My sister in law probably has an idea who his mate is. So, Brax will be mated soon.”

Karl sighed a breath of relief, “Ok, because he’s a good guy. He’s not like that Warlock prick.” Remi teased, “I literally cannot believe you were worried, Karl. This is a man with Fairy blood we are talking about. He’s all about being fair and stuff.”

I agreed, “That I am. A man who treated my mate like the Princess she is, has nothing to fear from me.” Julian said, “You linked Melanie to deal with that Warlock.” Remi squealed, “OH MY GOD!” Karl groaned, “Oh no.”

I asked, “What?” Remi said, “You fit in so well with me, Karl, and Piper. I knew that girl the world when I thought she was Ashley. I totally know she’s in the Resistance, and I need to get in. it’s my life goal. It’s actually on my senior list.”

William threw out, “We know.” I asked, “We do?” Julian laughed, “Yeah, Anastasia and Val told us because Mel told them. She’s super excited about it. She was a list, P. It’s a very exciting time for our brother’s wife.”

Remi screamed, “YES! When I found out she was a Beta wolf, I was like this list will be what she loves most about me. Before she gets to know me. My god, you should’ve seen her in class. It was hilariously awesome. Karl, did I tell you Melanie said we were friends?”

Karl replied, “You screamed my ear off down the link from the moment Melanie started talking in class because you knew she’d come to class to meet Piper.” Remi laughed, “Damn straight I did. Then I knew Anastasia and Valentina were Melanie’s friends because they came too. I knew Valentina was with Julian. I have so many questions about Anastasia but she and William look SO CUTE together. This is going to be the BEST year! It’s going to make up for senior years.”

I replied, “If Melanie read your to do list, that’s definitely accurate.” William laughed, “Our sister in law has in fact read it.” Remi screamed into her hands excitedly. William added, “Anastasia convinced Melanie it would be fun to add people into their list of things to do for bonding time.”

Remi screamed, “SHUT UP! SHUT UP RIGHT NOW! This is the BEST! Karl, my petty tax is so being paid. I knew the universe understood that was deeply important to me. I said it had to be picture perfect to be considered paid and boy does this deliver.”

I asked, “Your what now? Also, please never tell Melanie about a petty tax.” Julian busted up laughing. I asked, “Wait, where are your mates?” William answered, “Valentina shimmered them back to the apartment to set things up for us when we told them you were coming.” So, sexy surprises. Got it.

Remi asked, “So, you’re coming to our scrimmage, right?” I answered, “Yes, Piper asked me to come.” Remi warned, “Don’t you flake out.” I replied, “Even if there is an emergency for some weird reason, I will come. My mate is my priority and that is hammered home with my family.”

Julian said, “We’ll cover him if there’s an emergency. Our mates are planning to come too. Melanie had signs made so she also plans to come.” I snorted, “Mom got in on that then.” William agreed, “Mom told them about the signs and helped them make them. It was a whole bonding moment filled with glitter glue.” I couldn’t stop the smile that overtook my face.

We went upstairs and got into bed. CJ linked, “You have a meeting with your brothers to come for. I rubbed my eyes then Piper’s alarm went off. I nuzzled her, “Good morning, love.” Piper made the cutest noise.

I slid down between her thighs and got to work making her come. My mate tasted divine. Piper screamed my name. I kissed up her body noting she did in fact have a hickey or two on her neck. I kissed her, “Thanks for my morning meal. I’ll see you at your scrimmage.” Piper blushed and I had to kiss her.

Piper groaned, “Why do we have to leave this room?” Her arousal filled the air. Bernard growled. Julian linked, “We have to go, P.” I sighed, “I’ll see you tonight." Piper grinned, “Ok. I don’t have my phone by the way.” I asked, “Why?” Piper admitted, “My teammates took it because I was going to text you.”

I frowned, “Then stick with Remi.” Piper laughed, “I will.” I linked my pack members that were athletes, “All of you watch out for my mate today. Her teammates took her phone and there’s an asshole who STALKS her!”

I tapped Piper’s nose, “I’ll get your phone to you before your first class ends.” Piper laughed, “You can’t steal it back.” I could but I was going to get her a new one. I winked, “I have ways.” I linked Melanie, “Hey, I need a phone delivered to Piper in her class and I feel like you have her schedule and know who could do that.”

Melanie said, “Uhhh what? Why…? Does….why?” I snorted, “Her teammate thought she was going to text me too soon.” Melanie grumbled, “People… are trying… to irk me today… they are…. I’m….umm….I’ll try to link Si…but…” Then she cut out.

I linked Alexander, “What is Melanie doing?” Alexander snarled, “She’s been in the Ribbon since we got home and stopped having s*x. She just disappeared from our bed.” I asked, “What? Why?” Alexander growled, “I don’t know.”

Sierra linked me, “So, I have an email from Melanie I’m on it.” Bernard snorted, “Freya is such a good person and so is her human.” I asked, “Is Melanie ok?” Sierra snorted, “Well, yes. She’s mad though and on a rant about goddesses that was thankfully cut off. Melanie has phones ready to go with Piper’s number and had cases conjured. I will deliver the phone and switch over service since Piper uses Melanie’s phone company.” It wasn’t even shocking Melanie owned one at this point.

I replied, “Thank you. I just can’t have her without communication with a STALKER.” Sierra snorted, “Yeah, those humans want to watch out. Also, it had BETTER be a human that took Piper’s phone or I cannot stop Melanie from killing them in this mood she’s in. That’s from the brief, and mind you that is Melanie’s version of brief, email I have.”

I nearly laughed. I told Piper, “My cousin’s wife will be her with a new phone for you shortly.” Piper gaped, “Are you serious?” I winked, “Yes.” Piper laughed, “I hope you put your number in it since I’ll have to numbers then.” I laughed, “It’s the same number.” Piper’s eyes widened and I kissed her again.
