Perhaps it was the age difference. Perhaps it was the fact that she was older than me by a few years. Perhaps it was the fact that I wanted to comfort a woman, like her, and have always believed in love since my parents were that.
Maybe that?
Maybe not.
Maybe it was that.
Nonetheless, there was always something about her that truly and simply captivated me. Every action she took, no matter how small, would captivate me due to something special about her. Maybe it was her everything. Perhaps that, because even while she was working intently at her tiny desk, I would be observing her from a distance so she would not know, or how she would just push her hair behind her ear.
