Some meanings were affection, like light touches and gentle strokes on areas such as your hand, hair, cheek or back. Comfort, such as a reassuring hug, hand on your knee, or arm around your shoulders can provide a sense of security and comfort. Attraction, like light touches on your lips, neck, or waist symbolized s****l attraction and interest. Control, like a more possessive and assertive touch on the waist or hip, would mean he wanted to be in control.
