The Flying Suhani

Rolling down the hill, Suhani tumbled upon a stone, She was in air for a while. Somebody puller her scarf. Involuntarily her hands sprang into action, but could not save her from being exposed.    She glanced back hurriedly in fear and anger, who is this rascal playing prank at this juncture? She realized that her green scarf got entangled with the shrub and now signalling her for safe landing. Suhani almost visualized her death falling down 200 feet down in the valley. But what a pleasant surprise was there in store. She was gliding in air. It took her some time to realize that she was flying like a majestic kite in the vast sky.  After a short glide, she took complete charge of herself and started maneuvering herself in air towards city of Baramula. Having got wings, it took her than 10 minutes of time for her to reach to the town. She was hovering over city of Baramula. Deserted look of the roads, all windows and doors shut, it was a fearsome silence. A chirping of birds now and then was the only voice breaking the dread some silence. No wind blowing, trees drooping down their heads, and deadly silence speaking loudly that "all is not well" in this part of Kashmir.   A seer imagination of Rahman, a skinny boy in long Kurta and short Pajama (typical dress of Muslim community), left her in jittery. She wanted to reach out him as soon as possible. While hovering over the area around Jumma Masjid, see saw the body of an Indian soldier, blood oozing out from all sides, two of his compatriot pulling him up to the plain where a jeep is parked. It is certainly a medical van, as Red cross is prominently visible.  Badly injured soldier was pushed into the jeep and jeep zoomed out from the place. A mother from deep inside Suhani, appeared and started shouting at top of the voice, what the hell is going on in "heaven on the earth", why our sons are being sacrificed on the altar of terror and fanaticism? Why a mother is being ....... When her sense of anger turned into sense of deep grief, she could not realize. She was shoving like a baby keeping her head embraced by her arm. Why? why? why? Tears rolling down her rosy cheeks,
