I had finally gotten in touch with Lily, and because of the very obvious Erics on my neck I had to take a few days including the part where my whole scent was covered heavily by Lucas’s pheromones, which screamed 'mine' to any alpha and meant I was taken, but I couldn't go to the office until it wore off, since multiple showers won't cut it
As the day went by, I made it back to my apartment hoping Lily wasn't too mad at me for going MIA on her, as I opened the door and let myself in, I could 0hear the fast footsteps from Lily’s room and in a second, I was hugged tight without abandon
