His silent wife

Chapter 3

I walked with him slowly tailing behind him like a snail ..

walk fast .. short legs .He teased making me pout . I am not short legs ,I mumbled but couldn't tell him Infront of his face ,

I heard that .. he says chuckling making me go red .

I couldn't look up becuase I was afraid of everyone judging me or looking at me ,

Come sit here I will be right back, He says and I took a seat breathing heavily .

I looked around only to find out that everyone is minding their own business making me a little embarrassed ,

I am a horrible person... ughh why ?

I can't even think anything positive about people ,

But then , I thought they would judge me. I whinned inside but couldn't let anyone see through me and my feelings .

"I am back ," Ronald says happily and put an ice cream cup on my table ,

I licked my lips as I felt my mouth water , but quickly masked it and remembred that I wasn't allowed to eat anything sweet especially ice cream ,

Mom says I am already fat and I can't risk eating and adding alot more in my system .I put my want hands back on my laps .

"What happened ,?" he asks with a frown and scooping up his ice cream .

Umm .. I am ..I am alergic to ..to this ..

I pointed out ..

He went silent for a moment, I assume looking at me and then started laughing,

My goodness .. can't he laugh modestly without sound ? this is embarrassing,

Umm excuse me . I tell him and was about to stand up when he caught my arm,

It felt like everything froze for a moment, all I could feel were sparks from his hands igniting my whole body from the wrist that he hold .

Roughly I pulled off from his hand and ran quickly away from him, my Whole face is red and I couldn't even look at anyone as I walked by .

I entered in the bathroom and catch my breath , My mind is in a state of denial and my heart was thumping, I close my eyes and took one large breath and walked to the mirror.

what has happened out there ,? what's wrong with me ,? Ughh ...

I silently look my face in the mirror and blushed for an unknown reason,

I was stupid to follow him to the cafeteria .. I mumbled silently my smile dissapearing .

"But I did nothing right, ? " No, you did some thing wrong .. my subconscious says to me .

Remember you weren't suppose to walk with a man ... that too going into the cafeteria sitting with him .Mom will have your throat today ,my subconscious says to me and I gulped , I knew nothing is going to end up good today . I messed up big time , I acted so irrational and followed him like a lost puppy .

Can this day get any better ?

I was panicking so bad that I couldn't see how my fingers were trembling until I dropped my bag on the floor , Lord help me ..

I mumbled silently and walked out with a straight face .

I directly went to my next class and opened my phone after settling up, I opened the grous that teacher assigned us to join and look at some assignments that are needed to be finished to ease up my mind .

After looking at everything , I opened messages notifications , and saw I had none .

"weird !!"

No one has texted me ? I can't believe it . I murmured and looked if mom is online ,

And hopefully she wasn't , I checked my other family members and decided to close the phone after seeing the same state.

Maybe they are in the office and they have a very important meeting , I am pretty sure after this they are going to call me.

I relaxed sitting on my sit and smiled at the same time when the professor entered and started the lesson.

I am early .. I mused and look forward .

looking around , we were less than ten people in the class which is unusual . People like to be late in this class and the professor doesn't care .

He started even if the whole class has nobody inside , it isn't his obligation to call grown adults men with beards and brightly minded women to join the class .

His work is to make us all learn, that's it .

After fifteen minutes , groups and groups of people started settling inside the room and after five minutes the class was quite and the only sound which is heard is from the proffessor .

I listen attentively and took some notes now and then until I heard a notification in my phone , Quickly I fished it out and opened it secretly ,

if the professor sees me , I will be in trouble for sure.

I opened and saw it was Tony's message ,

"Hey strawberry .. we left early today .Something came up in the company and we needed to be there as soon as possible ,

Don't worry everything is fine though .. "

I smiled a little and put my phone in the bag and carried on taking some notes forgeting my surrounding , Atleast my brother's message cheered me up .

When the lesson is over , I took my phone and replied to my brother that I will see him home soon .

I took my bag and dragged it along with me to my last class with a sigh ..

I didn't know I was tired until I sat on the place that I was supposed to be at claiming that I was waiting for the teacher but in reality I slept into a deep slumber as the darkness welcomed my tired body .

You are going to regret this when you wake up .. my subconscious warned.
