Sophie POV
I woke from my dreamless sleep to find two balloons at the foot of my one was a one and one was an eight. Today I was eighteen. I got up and went to the balloons that had a card attached to one of them. My heart was racing with excitement as I read the card.
"Sophie,
Happy Birthday, have a great day.

Adam x"
I was in shock, he had managed to get into my room during the night! I didn't know whether to be disgusted or flattered. But I was smiling nonetheless, this was a nice surprise to wake up to. That meant he knows how to get in! My heart fluttered he must have been here the other night I wasn't going crazy!
I looked up at the balloons and my stomach fluttered with desire. Adam cared enough to buy these and is crazy enough to enter my home to leave them for me.
