More Red Roses

2339 Words

Sophie's POV I pulled up outside of my work with Adam's phone in the back of my jeans pocket, I walked in and I wasn't the first to arrive all the others were here. They all cheered as I entered, they had done my section and mirror up with a well-done banner, any excuse for a celebration in this salon. They handed me well-done cards, and all hugged me.  Gail announced I was to move up from stylist to Senior stylist which was a very proud moment for me, we all teased Zoe who hadn't finished her final year and was still a stylist. We all got on with our day, every time the door opened I prayed for it to be Adam. I showed off my new scissors, which both Zoe and Chris were jealous of.  "Wow!" Alana said as the door opened and a woman, a florist walked in with a huge bouquet of red roses.
