Katia and Devin gunned their engines that Monday morning just after dawn, planning to cruise up to TrC to visit his parents before his Dad headed off to work. The Kilrushes lived in a one-story frame two-bedroom home on East Sixth Street, not far from where Devin had gone to school. Sierra Elementary School had since closed, its students merging with those at TrC Elementary after the terror bombings.
