IN THE ROCKET (2)

Priscy immediately took her recorder and started recording.The person speaking said that the main purpose of this mission to the moon was to look for Mary and to see whether she was really dead and if she wasn't dead, he was supposed to finish her off.

Priscy was really shocked and she waited about twenty minutes for the pilot to get out of the washroom and for her mind to process what just went on. She was still in awe and surprised as she left the washroom.

She went back to their secret hideout and sent a signal to Larry that he could enable the cameras now. On Earth, Larry got the signal and enabled the cameras. Their mission commander asked why Larry was now enabling the cameras. Larry had to think of something to say or else he will be exposed and who knows what will happen to the poor children in the rocket? If something happened to them, he won't be able to face their parents and he won't forgive himself.

As these things came to Larry's mind, he knew he had to give a perfect excuse. Larry then said he found out that a virus had attacked some cameras so he had to deactivate them, deal with the virus before enabling the cameras. Since everyone knew Larry was a perfectionist, further questions were not asked.

Back in the rocket, Priscy played the recording to Alex. Alex was really shocked and angry at the same time. Anger rushed through his veins and he wanted to beat up the pilot and to send a warning that no one should dare touch his mom. Priscy begged him saying that if he blew their cover, there was a possibility of them getting killed and their reason for sneaking away from home into the rocket was to save his mother and not to fight and get killed.

This calmed Alex down and he sat down. They were almost to the moon and Alex felt hunger pangs within him. He and Priscy decided to eat. After eating, they felt the rocket going down. They both held unto each other.
