  I went off on him without holding back. Didn’t even wait for Ronald to react—just snatched my phone back, pushed the car door open, and stormed off.   I had no clue he looked like he was about to lose it right then, eyes dark as hell, like he seriously considered breaking my legs or something.   Later I found out, he’d never met someone like me before. No background, no power, yet still had the nerve to stand up to him. I didn’t shrink back, didn’t beg. He was furious, clenched his jaw and sped past me in his car like he was gunning for a race, leaving me eating dust on the side of the road.   I just stood there, fuming, trying to steady my breath before I exploded.   "Just get through tomorrow. One more day and I’m free. Ronald, that stubborn bastard, can’t mess with my head anymore
