Chris felt his blood boil at the sight of Tasha. She was his ex now.  He almost went out and got a restraining order on her when she began acting like a fool ever since he ended it between them after his accident. When he told her they had to stop she didn't let go. Soon on Chris worried about his own life and when Tasha didn't agree to that she promised to go in for the kill—literally. Tasha was making threats and claims on him if he didn't take her back. Then she became crazy. When Chris heard about that from his manager, he had to bump his security up. He was in no need in these crazy games. But that didn't stop her from doing other things. She busted his tires and threw a brick through is window. Chris stood to his feet and walked over to where Sulem was standing and pulled her behind him.  "How the fvck did you get past my doorstep?!" Chris glared and his security immediately was at his aid. Tasha smirked and attempted to rub up his chest which caused Chris to grab her wrist and push her away. Displeasure covered her face. "I wanted to come see if you were alright." "I'm straight. Now, get your ass out my house!" "Chris..." Joyce warned about the the tone and language. Joyce walked up to Chris side and looked at Tasha. She crossed her arms over her chest and gave Tasha a strong look. "Now Tasha, what is the reason for you showing up here?" Sulem felt so awkward as she stood there watching the scene. From what she could see the girl was an ex of his. "Well, I really did want to see if you were alright. But I miss you babe." Chris turned to see a confused Sulem. She still had bags in her hand. Chris reached to grab them which made Sulem step back. "I got it. I'll just leave you alone." She walked into the direction of the kitchen. Once around the corner, Tasha went off. "So you think you can get back with my son? With all that happened, you need to be checked into a mental—" "Mama, I got this." Joyce glared at Tasha one last time before heading into the direction of the kitchen. Chris looked at Tasha and placed his hands into the pockets of his sweats. "Why are you here?" Chris questioned more firmly but calm. "I told you, I missed you. I want to start over. I got records on getting myself together. I'm not the same girl I use to be." Tasha explained. She was there to get her man back. She wasn't going to let that happen. She came back to get her man and start over. Chris shook his head, "What you just said went through one ear out the other. You said you changed and that's good for you but 'us' is not going through a repeat. I'm sorry but I don't want you nor do I miss you." That hit Tasha and that hit her hard. She felt like he punched her in the face. Her eyes watered as she looked in the direction of the kitchen. "Is it her?" She mumbled. "No, it's you." Chris did have something for Sulem but he was not about to put her at risk of a unstable mental female. "Your lying. I noticed how you look at her!" She raised her voice. Chris walked around her and opened the door. He turned to her and motioned her out the door. "It's time for you to go." Tasha glared at him before walking out the door but before leaving she turned to him. "I will be back, Chris. I promise you that." She swore while security followed her out. 2 weeks later Sulem and Chris found themselves jogging on a track. Chris was getting better and better by the day. It's almost been 2 months and they had made more progress than they thought. As the two ran, Chris was thinking. He wanted to do something tonight. He was tired of being trapped in the house. He was thinking go out to the club and probably bring Connor, a old childhood friend. He's known longer than Twan. Sulem jogged over to their belongings and grabbed a bottle of water. "Feeling tired?" Sulem questioned, breathlessly. A smirk formed on his face as he watched Sulem grab the towel and wiped her sweaty chest and forehead. "Nah beautiful, but you are unfortunately." She rolled her eyes as she took a seat the bleachers as she began to twist the cap of the water bottle. "Of course. We ran around this track 9 times. Not to mention without water breaks and taking a breather. Do you not see how big this track is?" Sulem explained as she quickly took a big swing of water. Chris chuckled and took a seat beside her. He grabbed the towel that she used, that rested in her lap, and wiped the sweat from his head and neck. "Well go ahead and use my towel." Sulem smiled. He shook his head playfully and cleared his throat. "What you doing for the night, Sulem?" Sulem shrugged and took a quick sip of water. "Nothing I know of tonight and I'm also off tomorrow but why?" "I don't just asking. But I'm going out tonight." He told her. Sulem turned and act as if she was checking the time. Was he asking her out? "That's good. It's about time you get off that ass of yours." She said not even believing what just came out her mouth. It was so rare for a cuss word to escape her mouth. Chris chuckled and looked her way. "Yeah. So—to show how much I appreciate you helping me out, I want you to go out with me." Sulem felt her heart skip a beat. It has been awhile since she's went out or did anything fun. I guess one night won't heart. "Alright but if I get to bring a friend" she smiled. "It's cool with me. I'm bringing someone myself." He smiled down at her. She felt her cheeks heat up. That smile. Always that smile. "I guess it's settled".... **** "So I finally get to meet the man you've been talking about." Marina said from the bathroom. Sulem kept her gaze on the mirror. She wore a black long sleeve crew neck short bodycon jumpsuit that was only see through from the neck and stopped just around her breast, going down to a see through sleeve. Sulem thought it was too much. To short, it stopped right under her bottom. She glanced down at her designer black heels with the straps to the side. She started to feel a nervousness conjure her body. What am I doing? To much of my legs are showing..... You are for sure trying to get his attention? "Sulem, you look gorgeous. I see you trying to get someone's attention tonight." Marina smirked as entered Sulem's bedroom as she tightened her half up ponytail. "Thank you but it's too much for attention." Sulem said as she messed with her curly hair. "Su, I think you look fine and I'm pretty sure your going to get a lot of attention from that someone." Sulem shook her head as she kept messing with her hair. A moment later her buzzard that indicated that someone was here, went off. "Oh, you gave him your address?" Marina smirked. Sulem rolled her eyes as she walked across her polished wooden floor to her bed. "He offered to drive and plus he was not taking 'no' for an answer." "He sounds very highhanded." Sulem slid on her black jacket that was on the bed, on. "That's Chris for you." "You ready?" Sulem asked. Marina nodded and walked out her bedroom and going straight for the door. Sulem got her purse and keys and cut the light off before walking out the bedroom. Her heels made sounds as she made her way down the hall. She zipped her purse up and looked up and met his gaze. Marina was nowhere in sight. "Hey Chris." She smiled nervously. He was quite intimidating. "Wassup, you look beautiful." He said as he but on his lip. "Are you sure it's not to much? I coul—" "No you look fine." He cut her off. He held his hand out for her and she grabbed it. She cut the lights off and walked out of her house. She locked the door and linked arms with Chris. "I assume my friend, Marina came out here?" Chris nodded and said, "Remember I said I had a friend coming?" "Yes." "So their in the back doing whatever." He said which made her chuckle. "Let me find out you were playing match maker." Chris chuckled, "Or I just wanted to have you to myself tonight." Sulem couldn't help but feel her cheeks heat up. She was trying her best to keep their relationship as just friends but Chris was making it hard. He opened the passenger side door for her and helped her inside. She turned and saw Marina having a conversation with a man with tats going up his long arms. She noticed the man with blonde hair and her eyes widened. "Your MGK." Which got their attention. Just then Chris got in the car. "You must be Sulem. My man here has told me a lot about you." I looked at Chris, who had just started the car and was off. "Has He now?" Chris kept his attention on the road and before she turned around she said, "It was nice meeting you." "You too" She turned to Chris and he was smirking. Sulem rolled her eyes and looked out the window. As time went pass they finally arrived. This should be good....
