La Gomera
It was his first board meeting, and they had already lost two key members who had inexplicably resigned last week, one of whom, the American Stanton, would be sorely missed. Guy stared purposefully around the boardroom as he started his first Elders meeting as Chair, and he wondered how Victoria would have handled the situation. He was indebted to her advice and would never have taken the role without her full support. It was disappointing that Sergei had not made an appearance but he intended to progress the Russians appointment as President. He turned to Rose, who was now acting as Secretary, and smiled briefly as he counted the seats that were activated.
