Chapter 16 Germania Sabine looked around the large gothic entrance hall as she was ushered into the old house. It had been a long and exhausting journey from Europe, particularly the last part up into the jungle. A small propeller plane that skimmed the tops of the rainforest had brought her into Paraguay, and then she had embarked upon the short river journey into the middle of nowhere, to the land that time forgot.
