Tenerife
Two days later Guy and Sergei arrived on the largest of the Canary Islands having finally satisfied Inspector Columba that they were not complicit in the treasure investigations. They arrived late at night and headed to a luxury hotel named the Melia, which looked directly across the sea to La Gomera, a view of his new homeland Guy had not seen before. It had taken two days to convince the Inspector that they were totally on his side and that they were not somehow embroiled in the events with the treasure. He had proved to be a tough operator and had held them all under semi-arrest for a day whilst he discovered the true nature of the treasure and what had happened.
