As I walked out of the cellar, my legs stumbled and gave way. I was so weak and tired, I couldn’t take another step. Leon held onto me to stop me from hitting the ground and picked me up in a cradle. I glanced over at him and he grinned.
“Don’t worry, I’ve got you baby” he softly reassured me. The sound of a single gunshot travelled through the hallway, I knew it was the Carlos ending Antonio’s life and I didn’t even flinch. I’m glad he’s taken care of, I don’t ever want to see that scumbag’s face again. I looked around at the dead bodies lined up along the ground. I didn’t realise there were so many guards outside the door. It was a tragic scene to lay eyes upon. I gazed over at Leon and bit at my lip to fight my tears back.
