Kind of a first

There are a few stages of a kiss. The first one is panic. A complete and utter h****k of senses when you feel like you've been struck by lightning. Then all sorts of thoughts come rushing through your head. What is going on? Why is he kissing me? Did I brush my teeth? Why's the sky blue? And then comes the phase when all of those thoughts just fly out of your head and leave it empty. That's the one I'm currently in. I've already gone through the three phases, and I still haven't done anything. I was just standing there, motionless and stiff as a stick while Dominic's mouth moved on mine gently, trying to get me to do... something. But I didn't.
