SPRING LOOKED AT the horizon where the blue azure sky and the vast carpet of sea meet in one thinning line. Her green eyes, darting over the wavy seas does not see the world before her no more. She was lost in thought, but whatever alien that invaded her mind, she shook off.             She was on the seashore, looking like a typical human being like everyone scattered about the white beach. She had just blended with the crowd, a fleeting ghost that sees but unseen. She stood up leaving the wide spread beach mat behind, moving towards a refreshment vendor.             When she moved through clusters of people, cutting through a crowd after the other like an empress wandering about, men could not help but give way like how soldiers will before a royalty. Maybe even the Red Sea will split apart upon the coming of this beauty; she will not need Moses' staff. And as her perfectly shaped white legs took motion with the strides and swiftness of a tiger, eyes were examining her up and down like foxes evaluating a hen which happened to walk in their midst.             Dressed in a turquoise two-piece bathing suit, her skin reflects the rays of the sun like a porcelain under the onslaught of light. A pair of healthy round breasts is evident under the upper garment and men could have envied the tinted round glasses tucked in between her cleavages. How some wished it is one of their fingers in the valley between two hills of fantasy. A healthy butt is also evident swaying down and sideways as each foot took plunges, burrowing a couple of inches to the warm sand. Her hair reaching at shoulder level swayed in the air giving the men the effect that they may have skipped a heartbeat or two. But she paid no mind to anyone around, her eyes under a thin line of brows and long straight eyelashes were focused at a cart under a colorful umbrella which as of now is still full of freshly harvested green coconuts. Her lips, a pair of b****y reds, were almost curled to a smile, her mind imagining what they would do when a pair of angel wings suddenly materialized at her back. Would they freeze in astonishment in surprise, or will they run away in fright?             Discarding the thought from her mind, she hurried on her way, retrieving the glasses from her chest and wore it to guard her observant eyes. The cart that was made of long strips of lumber nailed together over a wooden chassis and under a large umbrella with various colors. The vendor moved like hypnotized, getting a coconut and chopping the top off and plunging a hard red straw to it, when she ordered and paid. He was a young man no more than fourteen yet he knows how to pay mind to her seductive curves.             While taking a sexy sip from the straw, she faced the seas again pretending to enjoy the refreshment and acting like attracted to the beckoning of the sea for a bath that cannot be fought. But her eyes scanned each faces while locating Geiki whom she saw busily chatting to lovely foreigner in a purple two-piece bathing suit. Leigh was nowhere to be found.             "Enjoying the view?" a male voice from her back.             She turned her head a second, then back to Geiki again, showing no interest of the man but did drink every details of his personality at that such short time. He have a well-chiseled body, shaped and built during long hours of stays in the gym; a tall figure and tanned skin that suggested much moments spent under the sun. He may have been attractive provided she was a human, but his long black hair deducted him some points.               "Yeah," she gamely uttered without giving the man a second look.             "Mark," the low base voice came again, suggesting that it was his name.             "Cherry," she said, giving him a cover name. A name she had used for years when she penetrated Geiki's world. She have moved around him since then, enrolling all his subjects, a perfect stranger in all places, seeing him from afar, but unnoticed. And until now, Geiki have not been wiser to observe that one of his classmates always happened to be in same places at the same times. He may not even know her name, nor caught her observant eyes once.             When Geiki happens to be in bars, she will be there in some dark corners, acting like some lonesome lady drinking pineapple juice or shots of wine. Even at the parks, when her subject planned to take a walk or sit at a bench to unwind alone, she will be one of the typical park-goers who is pulling her black Rottweiler beside, yet her eyes will never let Geiki out of sight. She has been doing this and all of those for long, a part of strategy Archangel Michael planned for this long enduring chess game. There are even times when she questions herself why there is a big stake depending on a lone human being.             "Could I invite you for a lunch?" The question came more imperative. "Or something else. Maybe get a chance to know you better."             Humans, she thought gritting her teeth. How their mind can formulate a sin within seconds? She knew better. Inside this man's mind, her garments appeared transparent, imagining what she hides under it. In a matter of seconds, he already imagined how to kiss her in a hundred ways at a thousand different spots. She can smell l**t exploding from within his pores. This is one of the sinners they hope to save. But why save these sinners?             "It's generous and courteous of you," she looked at him through those tinted glasses but failed to establish a direct eye contact because of the accessory that is guarding her eyes. "But I think I will decline to your offer." And not waiting for any word, she took paces, leaving the man behind. She is here for a reason and that sole purpose is what drives her to be in all places Geiki is and will be.                                                                                          -KM-  OH THERE YOU ARE," Leigh showed up at Geiki's side like a mushroom that suddenly materialized. She interrupted again a conversation just when Geiki is about to pull out all the stunts to make this new-known friend fall under his hypnotic spell. "I have been looking all around for you."             "Oh, hi!" it is the only two words that the stunned Geiki can come up with. He may have taken the lovely lady somewhere in seclusion in just a few minutes. But here is Leigh, showing up again to cut his romance off.             "Who is she?" The foreigner who is a couple of inches taller than Leigh scanned her from foot to head the way a fighter will measure an opponent. "Your girlfriend?"             "Lucky you," Leigh who will not be intimidated by her tallness gave her the best grin she could come up with. She looked like a shark arming its razor-sharp teeth for a bite while giving the other lady a long stare that could have evaporated her. "I happen to be only a best friend. But you aren't taking this boy anywhere."             "Oh, a nanny!" She was about to laugh but she saw a different glint in Leigh's eyes like that of a shiny blade catching a ray of the sun. She should be adding an insult to her statement but she involuntarily choked and shivered as if it is the angel of death himself is before her front, appearing for a final call. She found herself walking away from the fight-in-the-making like her feet got a mind on its own submitting in defeat.             Leigh watched her leave with satisfaction like how she witnessed Tanya walk out of the car yesterday. She never said a word as the lady took paces towards the water. Geiki cannot believe how come everyone surrenders so easily to the lioness beside her, or perhaps, a dragon. He too watched his chance of pinning the lady in purple two-piece walks away.             "Why do you keep showing up like that?" Geiki giving her a scolding look but after seconds, he realized that no words will be spoken by Leigh any time soon. He too found entertainment printed on her eyes while the other lady took her strides. He looked again at foreign lady just in time when the water leveled on her knees. Then he turned to Leigh again. "And how do you really do that?"             "Do what?" She asked followed by a satisfied smile.             There it is again, the smile that makes his heart beats faster and slower at the same time.       He shook it off. "Girls always walk away from you without any fight."             "Feeling celebrity are we?" She turned her back to him and began walking; a suggestion is emitted by her strong aura that he should follow. "That girl and any other will not fight over a boy named Geiki."             "And why is that?" He found himself walking two steps behind her. He blinked his eyes a couple of times, but he is sure he is not in total control on his legs. "I consider myself above handsome. In fact I often found myself in love at my own image on the mirror."             "How about asking that mirror image to marry you?" She turned and made a face, stopping a second so he can catch up, then they are walking at the side of the other.             "Honestly, it sometimes comes to my mind." He said smiling while shaking his head, still cannot believe that a romance to a lovely foreigner was trashed by this maiden beside him. But he could not make himself angry, perhaps he loves how she keeps on showing up like that.             "I heard there is a vantage point over there." She pointed at a coast not too far away. "I think I want to see it.             "I think I want to grow a pair of wings. That is lightyears away!”                                                                                        -KM- SECLUDED AND AWAY FROM everyone, a pair of eyes is also locked at Geiki. She was there when he jumped off the car, eyesight following his every move. Like Spring, she perfectly blended with the crowds. Neither Geiki nor Spring have noticed this pretty lady sitting alone under the shade of a hut.             They are going away, she thought and stood up. Thinking there will be further sense blending, she got to do something not to lose her target.
