I sigh and lean my head on my desk. My hand is so numb from writing down all the appointments, that if I bite it, I probably wouldn't feel a thing. I scrunch my eyebrows, maybe I should take a small break.
Just as I am about to stand up, Alec comes in my little office.
"What do you want?" I snap at him. I know I shouldn't have snapped but I am exhausted.
"Now, that's no way to talk to your boss," he smirks. He walks closer to me and I bump against my desk, trying to escape him. Lately he's been acting really weird. One minute he is acting cold and glaring at me and the next minutes he is trying to get close to me and purposely annoy me.
"Does my closeness bother you?" He whispers. I nod and try to push him away, keyword try. He doesn't even move an inch. He smirks at me. "Good."
