I felt a cluster of emotions at that moment. What was Zayne thinking? Why on earth would he ask me to come to his room?
Did I do something wrong? Did he find out I've been suspiciously trying to get closer to a few clients for the past few weeks?
But how would he know…he's been away. But Diego has been around. Diego could have been reporting to him.
I didn't think that was the case though. Diego and I have become closer these past few weeks too and I like to think he considered me as much a friend as I considered him.
