Matilda's POV
I stared at both of them, I was too shocked to even say a word because I never thought Maxon would do this to me.
I hated the way things turned out to be, I drew in a deep breath and my heart was beating slightly faster than normal because I couldn't take it, I didn't expect this from Maxon of all people.
with a clenched fist, I turned around and I was stormed off out of anger, but he stopped me from leaving.
"Please listen to me please" he begged.
" what are you going to tell me? uh? That you never meant it's and the game was out of reflex?" I yelled at him, I have never been so angry with anyone in my life, I felt betrayed.
" listen to me" he urged me, but I just wanted to be far away from him so I could think properly, I hated the way things were making a bitter turn
