Maxon's POV
I can't believe that I just said those words, I wished I could take back those words, my heart was beating so fast, especially the way I stared at her, she was looking at me with so many emotions.
her eyes searched mine, almost like she wanted to be sure if I was just lying or if I was being sincere.
"tell me you are lying".
but I remained silent, I couldn't utter a single word, " just tell me you are lying Maxon" she yelled this time.
I kept my face down, I couldn't bring myself to look at her, she was looking at me with nothing but anger.
but she managed to surprise me when her gaze softened and she stared at me before she walked up towards me.
" Please tell me that everything is going to be alright and you just said that because you were angry" I still kept silent,
