Two weeks Later… The doctors have kept Bailey in a medically induced coma. I've been at the hospital every day, rarely leaving her side. The guys have been walking on eggshells, as if they expect me to snap any moment which f*****g annoys me. Winston is still alive, though it's uncertain how much longer he can hold on. I’m sitting next to Bailey, clinging to her hand like she could give me the strength I need. The doctor just walked in, and I hope he has good news. “Morning. We checked everything during the night, and her neck has healed as we hoped. We will be waking her up today. Her voice will be a whisper, but she needs to rest it as much as possible and not speak too much.” Thank God! I could kiss the doctor right now. “Thank you, doctor. I appreciate everything you’ve done for her.
