After talking to Tony, I went in search of Lauren. She wasn't in our room or anywhere in the pack house. I tried to link with her, but her walls were up.
I found Jimmy; he was with Dante, and they were coming back from daycare.
"Jimmy," I called, getting his attention. He turned, looking at me, "Alpha,"
Dante ran up to me, "Daddy." I bent to pick him, his little arm wrapping around my neck, hugging me,
"Hey, buddy."
Looking at Jimmy, "Have you seen Lauren?"
He looked confused, "No, Alpha, Im sorry I switched out with Nelson. He was on to lead the training this afternoon."

"Is Momma okay?" Dante asked, his eyes showing worry,
I rubbed his back, "No buddy, just miscommunications is all, she is probably in my office and I was thinking she was somewhere else
