Chapter 4 - Sub-God's Confirmation and Lucky's Decision

2242 Words
The sun had risen once again, and to the north of the God Punishment Forest, the Creation God's Temple loomed full of majesty. This could be said to be the center of the entire world. In the main hall of the temple, all the main gods stood in their places. Some of them were talking about something. And amongst the gods, there was a man who was dozing off while looking as if he hadn't woken up yet. And at this time, a gray-robed man walked over with an icy expression, and where he walked by, the others looked at him with contempt, while he didn't have the slightest evasive attitude, instead, he felt it was as if he deserved it. Because he was the god of death, whether man, or god, except for the god of creation, all the death in the world was under his control, and this made everyone hate him. Death couldn't help but feel helpless in his mind, he had only just taken over for 3 years. Alexia-Franklin ah, what did you do that was not good, but to blow up the last God of Death? However, this can only be complained in the heart, if Lucky knows that he said so, he will eat himself alive. However, it had been a long time since he had heard from his big brother, so of course he had to care about him as a little brother. So he came to the side of the man who was dozing off and carefully tapped the man's shoulder. "Anras, what's Lucky been up to lately?" Raj, the God of Death, looked at this sleepy-eyed guy and couldn't help but shake his head---where does this look like the God of Life, even if it was the God of Sleep, he wasn't as bold as him---daring to sleep on this Amethyst God's Temple. However, he didn't dare to say anything, after all, Lucky had once warned himself---"It's better to offend Odin than to have trouble with Anras, or you won't even know how you'll die." Raj, the god of death, didn't know what Anras' identity was, but he believed what Lucky said. Anras propped up one eyelid, saw that it was Raj, and yawned mediocrely and incomparably, "Heh~heh---Raj, what do you think Lucky is doing? That kid's too active, probably poking around in that Odin guy's arsenal again." The gods froze when they heard this. It had been 15 years, but everyone still couldn't see what relationship this "so-called" God of Life had with the Father God. He had taken over as the God of Life after Gabrielle, the previous God of Life, had been stripped of her godhood. At first, the gods thought that this was just a general turnover. However, on that day, the God of Creation issued a decree - Anras lived in the Temple of Creation, albeit for the purpose of teaching Lucky and Alexia-Franklin, however, it was too much of a transgression. "Hasn't Father God built special weapons for the two of them yet?" Death asked. Anras smiled sarcastically, "Well, I don't know." "I don't know what kind of weapon is suitable for them," Anras said in his mind. At that moment, Odin appeared in the great hall in a sorry state. Shouting hysterically, "Anras, you bastard, how could you let Lucky into the armory?!" Anras didn't seem to mind Odin's cursing and remained lazy, but opened both eyelids and laughed, "In that case, please give the offense of poor discipline and let me go." Hmm? What kind of joke is this? Letting you go? Then Alexia-Franklin and Lucky won't bore me to death? The gods all looked as if they were watching the show, except for the God of Death, who didn't really like this God of Life. Raj, the God of Death, was exceptionally fond of this God of Life's uninhibited personality, so he couldn't help but worry for him. But what did he know of the entanglements and wonders between Odin and Anras. He had met Gabrielle, and in comparison, he still found Anras a bit more approachable. "Well ......," Odin murmured, shaking his head in his mind as he looked at his brother's slouching form. Couldn't help but curse himself for being so messed up by Lucky. "Please don't kick Anras out, I apologize on my brother's behalf!" A thin voice appeared in the temple. The gods saw a silver-haired girl who was kneeling on one knee in the temple. With her head bowed, she pleaded for Anras. The gods could not help but be shocked - how did she appear? Why had they not even noticed? "Come, Alexia-Franklin, come here." Seeing the girl, Odin surprisingly became conciliatory, like a loving father looking at his most beloved jewel in the palm of his hand. The girl, dressed in white, walked to Odin's side with a graceful gait, a figure so beautiful that even a god of beauty would be dwarfed by it. Odin took her hand and said kindly, "Alexia-Franklin, don't worry, I won't kick Anras out. and Alexia-Franklin don't have to apologize, because it's not like you did it." From the first time he met the girl, 15 years ago, she was such a delight.Odin had to say that he wished he had such a daughter. And so it had always been that he saw Alexia-Franklin as his daughter. Compared to Lucky, he believed that Alexia Franklin was more qualified to inherit the throne of the creator god. However, it is a great pity that this girl was born with a bitter fate, not only her parents are dead, but also ...... Hearing Odin's promise, the girl smiled, "I knew it, Father God is the best." Only to see Odin change a very gorgeous crystal chair to the right of his god seat for Alexia-Franklin to sit. All the gods were dumbfounded as they looked at that position, knowing that that position was one that many gods could not sit in even if they wanted to. Anras, on the other hand, did not move and smiled at his brother---yes, she was indeed qualified to sit on that throne---despite her current flaws. At the same time, he realized that Lucky must have done something to make his brother's decision. "Son God, I wish you eternal joy and happiness!" All the gods bowed towards Alexia-Franklin. Looking at Alexia-Franklin, who was extremely uneasy at this moment, Anras suddenly remembered the first time Alexia-Franklin woke up in the Creation God's Temple, she was similarly so uneasy, and perhaps that uneasiness was a bit greater than this. Back then, when she was still so young ...... "Brother, I know you're here!" Alexia-Franklin entered a room in the castle as soon as she returned from the Great Hall, "Dumbest brother in the sky, please don't hide and seek with me, you know, I don't use my eyes." "Chi," a dashing to the bone man half a head taller than Alexia-Franklin took Alexia-Franklin's hand, he had violet eyes and flowing black hair, and exuded a gentle air, "Come, I've got you another Got a book." "Really?" Alexia-Franklin had a surprised smile on her face, yes, she loved books. Looking at her sister's smile, Lucky sighed quietly, and with a move of spatial transfer, she placed a book as thick as a brick into Alexia-Franklin's hands, Alexia-Franklin's delicate hands walked on the book and read out the title---"Introduction to Dajia Continent's Species". "Brother must be so tired. Such a thick book, transcribed in Braille for me ......" Alexia-Franklin felt deep guilt in her heart. Looking at his sister, Lucky gently snapped her head and said, "You are my sister which, if I don't love you, who else will love you. You're the dumbest brother in the world, but that's all the work you can do." Alexia-Franklin rubbed her head, wrinkled her nose mischievously, and pouted, "No matter, brother must go to bed!" "It doesn't matter, gods are immortal anyway, later I'll go find Anras and ask him for a cup of reishi liquid." Looking lovingly at her sister, "Now, tell me, did Odin get pissed off?" Alexia-Franklin giggled, knowing that her brother and Odin didn't see eye to eye. But, that said, a father would always be at odds with his son. And daughters were more of a favor to their fathers. Of course, there were exceptions to this, like Anras and Lucky. For this pair of siblings, Odin and Anras can be said to both give loving fatherly love, but, for Lucky, Anras gives him the feeling of also a brother and a father, and in private, he and Anras are always unconventional, so he doesn't have a problem with Anras. "Of course I'm angry, you don't know, he almost scared those gods to death. Also, Anras almost had to leave." Alexia-Franklin said, like a happy little beast... "By the way, just now, in the Great Hall, people are calling me 'Sub-God'." Alexia-Franklin suddenly quieted down as she spoke, her mental powers locking onto Lucky. "'Son God'? That's good, it's fine, you must want to read in peace, right? I'm going to go look for Anras for a bit, I thought of something important." Lucky smiled and went out the door with his sister, sending her back to her room, before heading towards Anras' room alone. Alexia-Franklin could not see, yes, for fifteen years she lived in infinite darkness. Long afterward she had hated her eyes at the time. For if she had been able to see, she would not have let her "dumbest brother in the world" fade away. ...... The most mysterious part of the Hall of Creation is the highest attic. After sending his sister back to her room, Lucky sighed and arrived at the door of the attic with an instantaneous movement. Of course he knew what was inside. But today, it was his and Alexia-Franklin's sixteenth birthday, and Alexia-Franklin didn't know that. His hands trembled gently, as did his entire body. Weakly, he leaned against the door, his violet eyes losing their luster. "Damn it!" He cursed himself, his black hair hanging haphazardly, an odd expression on his face. He muttered under his breath in a perky voice, "Didn't you decide this a long time ago? Since three years ago, haven't you already known your fate? Why is it that you couldn't even make a final decision when it came down to it?" A tear slid across that handsome face and dripped onto the ground. "If Chi knew about this, she would probably call me 'the dumbest brother under the sky' again, right?" A small smile surfaced on Lucky's lips at the thought. Wiping away his tears, he closed his eyes shut, and the words floated out of his mind with incomparable clarity, "My only wish in living is for Chi to be happy and healthy; Chi is all I have, and it's my duty to protect her." Turning the doorknob, he pushed the door open. "There you are." Anras sat in a very ornate crystal recliner in the loft. This attic was much like an underground storage room in a normal home, with a small window in the wall directly opposite the door--that was the only source of natural light in this attic. The crystal recliner Anras was sitting in was so ornate that it seemed out of place compared to this attic. However, it couldn't be helped, for Anras and Odin, their sitting chairs were the only ones, who called them the supreme creator gods? Lucky had a calm look on his face, not letting on at all that he had just lost his temper. At that moment, a shadowy figure surfaced around Anras, and Lucky didn't panic, he knew that the shadowy figure was something. "Chaos, hello." "Hello Lucky. no matter what, every time I see you, you're so calm. Not like a child at all." There was a helplessness in Chaos' vapid voice. "Nah~! You two, don't talk to yourselves the moment you meet, okay?" Anras hated the feeling of being hush-hush. "Anras, go ahead. I'm ready." Lucky said, "Whether the cost is my life or my soul, I want Chi to be able to see." "Wouldn't it be nice for you to take care of her in this life?" At some point, Odin also appeared in the small attic. Cold as ice, Odin looked at Odin, slightly closed his eyes, habitually extended his index finger, waved it in the air a few times, and said quietly: "It's not the same, vision is more useful than any other sense. I know that everything in Chi is perfect, except her sight. It's not fair like that. I know that that 'Curse of Heaven' or whatever it is, will appear one day. In that case, I'll just give up." "But if you do, it's not fair to Alexia-Franklin either." Chaos spoke, "Have you asked, Alexia-Franklin's heart? Does she wish to be the heir to this pantheon?" "But does it make a difference, Chaos?" Lucky asked rhetorically, a desperate smile blooming on his face ...... Bloom ...... There can only be one creator god, and the strong must kill the weak to gain the throne ...... I admit that I am cowardly because I don't want to kill my sister! So - I will use my soul as a bridge to pave the way for her - This is the only thing I can do.
