Leo's POV
When I saw Emma, I lost it. My whole body tightened up, and before I even realized it, I was storming toward her, fists clenched so hard it felt like my nails might break the skin.
The rage hit me like a truck. At first, she didn’t even notice me, but when her eyes finally met mine, it was already too late. I was right there.
I grabbed her by the throat, squeezing just enough to make her gasp for air. She clawed at my hand, trying to pull free, but I didn’t let go. My voice came out low and icy. “You’ve got some nerve showing up here.”
Her lips trembled, and her wide eyes filled with fear, but she didn’t say a word. That just made me angrier. “You know what you did, Emma. Master almost died because of you. I went days without food, days of torture,” I spat.
