My heart skipped a beat when I thought of Leo. Was he bipolar or something? One minute he was strangling me, tossing me into a dungeon without food or water for days. The next, he’s acting like he cares. Yesterday, I saw a different side of him—one I didn’t think existed.
I always thought he was a monster through and through, especially after the way he treated Andrea and me. I mean, why the hell would I betray him? To a hybrid? No way. My life’s way too precious for that. He must’ve mistaken me for someone else.
