Emma's POV The howl echoed again. My heart sank. Whoever—or whatever—was out there wasn’t far. Andrea grabbed my arm, her grip weak but desperate. “Emma, we need to go. Now.” Her words barely registered as my thoughts spiraled. Lita. The necklace. The powers I lost. The wolf that was supposed to be my partner but threatened Andrea instead. None of it made sense. “Emma!” Andrea shook me, her voice trembling. “We can’t just stand here!
