Chapter 44

After few minutes later, every one had their food and rested on the ground for few minutes until then they gain energy to move forward in the search of the temple and started their journey . . .

Every one started moving towards the way, which the map was showing to them and after crossing the golden flower garden, they have entered into a small desert again.

"What is this we have again came into the desert, do we missed the route ?", Jack asked

"I think no, we are in the correct way. Here in the map it was showing the desert and after crossing this desert we will enter into the Skull Island which contains only hills ", Mathew said

"What hills ?", Benjamin asked

"Yes, when after we crossed the hills, then we reach to the temple ", Mathew said

"But how can we cross the hills and we don't have enough food too ?", Mr. Richard asked

"Ok, you do one thing Mr. Benjamin and Mr. Richard you both stay at the place where the food that is fruits available there. We will go there and search the temple and find out what was there at that place. You both can stay there until we came back ", Mathew said

"No no, how can we wait there with out safety there ?", Benjamin asked

"Then what you will do, you tell me we will listen to you ", Mathew said with little anger

"Why you are becoming anger ?", Benjamin asked

"Then what should I do, you are blaming me for not plucking the flowers even though I felt current shock and you are not listening to me ", Mathew said

"ok ok sorry, we can't wait here until you return, we also come with you even though it was tough ", Mr. Benjamin said

"Ok then, let's go. We will plan for food while going on. For the mean while we will carry some fruits in our bags until we found some thing to eat for us ", Mathew said

Every one talking to each other and moving forward and the desert was too hot then the last desert and they are not able to travel over there but there is no other option for them. Very hardly they are moving and some of them are loosing their stamina and going to faint in a few more minutes.

Unfortunately may be they are so lucky that they found a small lake and every one went there and rested for some time there as there are lot of tress and lot of shadow to rest for some time and to end their fatigue. . . .

Every one settled there for some time and luckily they found some fruits for them to eat and get rid of their hunger. Lot of trees surrounded by the small lake and the water in that is very cool and they could believe with eyes to see such a wonderful place and it looks like a small island. . . .

Clara and Jean went into the lake and bathed their for some time and playing each other happily as they felt their life's came back after the long journey on the desert. After playing in the water for some time Clara pulled Mathew into the lake by grabbing his right hand.

"No Clara no, stop it ", Mathew said

"Come one Mathew please come inside ", Clara said and forced him to come inside the lake and he accepted the offer, went inside the lake and enjoyed happily for that moment with Clara wholeheartedly after long time as he did not enjoyed his life since childhood . . . .

Few minutes later Jean also asked Jack to come inside the lake and enjoyed by playing in the water, as all the four were playing in the water Mathew asked the remaining to come into the water too. So when Mathew asked them to come into the water every one went into it and getting rid of their tiredness. 

All of a sudden the pendant in the neck of Mathew started glowing again and he stood as a statue as of he was seeing the future in it and the golden rays are coming out of him completely and Mathew stretched his hands and feeling some pain for some time and after the rays gone he released from it and bent down to get rid of his tiredness . . .

"Mathew, Mathew . . . what happened ?", Clara ran towards him with worrying and giving jerks to him as she want to wake him up from the world he went.

"Mathew are you alright ?", Mack also asked him

"We . . we have to get out from here immediately ", Mathew said by taking a long breath as he was feeling very tired because of the golden rays went into him, his energy was completely gone. But he was gaining it for few minutes when the golden rays are gone . . 

"Why, did you seen anything again risky ?", Clara asked

"Yes, some thing is there in this lake and it was going to kill us if we are in this lake for few more minutes. So come on let's get out from this immediately ", Mathew said

So by then every one moved out of the lake and when they just came out a large creature which was looking like half woman and half horse came out from that and tried to catch them but they the time every one moved far away from it and it was seeing it clearly from far place as it was screaming very loudly that they could not endure the sound of it, every one closed their eyes with both their hands.

The creature was trying to come out of the water and trying to catch them but it was not able to come as may be it can not live on the ground and with out water . . .

"I think it can not live out of the water, that's why it was not coming out of water ", Mathew said

"But what is that, it's looking very horrible ", Clara said

"Yes, what is the situation, is we found to it ?", Mack asked with fear

"We should all be dead by now in it's hands ", Mathew said

By seeing it Mr. Benjamin and Mr. Richard both are in shock and could not be able to talk any thing more. Mathew comforted them by giving some courage and moved from there immediately  . .

A new energy filled up in their bodies after they bathed in the lake, crossed the desert with hard trails and reached the end of the small desert. 

They saw a big forest like place after they reached the small desert. There they can not see any thing in front of them except the big trees that too the trees they are seeing are very rare and did not saw every else before ever in their life's and those are very big almost 20 feet height each of the tree.....
