Chapter 36

Mathew said very confidently that they were ready to start the journey . .

"But Mathew, we don't know how to ride the camels ", Benjamin asked

"Even I don't know and don't worry about that I will take care of that ", Mathew said

"But how ?", Clara asked

"I asked the people whose lend these camels to us how to go ride over them and they have told me every thing about how to ride on it ", Mathew said

"Ok ", all of them said at once

Mathew picked some hats from the shopping bag which he done at the Market streets and gave every one each of it and asked them to wear it . .

"But why this ?", Richard asked

"Wearing these hats will keep us from getting hit by the sun as there was a lot of journey in front of us " Mathew said 

"and I think may be it will be night when we go there ", Benjamin said

"But Not night sir, but I think it will take 2 days to travel over there as we are travelling over the camels and that too on the desert. The camels walk slowly by nature and on the deserts it may take more time to travel a kilometer ", Mathew said

"Yes you are right Mathew ", Richard said

All of them were ready for the journey and eagerly started moving forward towards the Camels as they were so excited that they are going to know the facts behind the temple in a very short period. But they don't know what was going to happen in their journey and what circumstances are going to face. 

Mathew firstly moved to a camel and said something in its ears and it sat on the ground. He asked Mr. Richard to come and take his seat on the camel very carefully. Mr. Richard done the same and the camel stood up and it was ready to start. Then Mathew moved to another camel and he done the same that is said something in it's ears and it sat on the ground and asked Mr. Benjamin to take ride on it. He done the same what Mathew said . . 

Mack and Clara got doubt that what Mathew was saying it in it's ears and those were doing the same what he was instructing.

"Mathew what are you saying in those ears, they are doing what you say ", Mack asked him eagerly

"I learned for those people who lend these camels to us that how to handle them and train them ", Mathew said

"So, why don't you tell us so that we also wanna try it ?", Clara said

"Ok, I will teach you and tell them the same in their ears. Come near to it ", Mathew said

Mack also done the same with the camel what Mathew instructed him in the same way and the camel also listened to Mack as a surprise. Mack felt very happy that he controlled an animal that he never think of it . .

"What about you Clara, you wanna try or shall I make it for you ?", Mathew asked

"I will try ", Clara said

"Ok come front near to the camel ", Mathew said to Clara and instructed her what to do and what to say in its ears and she also done the same and the camel also listened to her to a surprise . .

Clara sat on the camel and it stood up and Mathew also took ride on it and all were started their journey in the desert very quietly . . . 

Their journey quiet silent as no one was talking to each other and Mathew was looking very disturbed and those feelings are clearly visible in his face .. .. Richard noticed the change in his face and asked him

"Mathew, what happened to you, why are you so dull today. We are observing you since morning onwards when you wake up in the morning. Is every thing ok or some thing excruciating that you are hiding from us?. Come on open up Mathew ", Richard asked with out hesitation

"No nothing like that sir ", Mathew replied

"Then why are you like that ?", Benjamin also asked the same

"Thinking about our journey to see if we are all safe ", Mathew said

Richard and Benjamin were silent and thought that he was hiding something from them. After a while Clara was hungry and informed the same to Mathew that the time is now 01:30 pm already and every one are so thirsty too . . 

"I placed meals on your bags, open your bags and have it ", Mathew said

"What we have to eat while riding ?", Clara asked

"Yes Mathew it will become tough to eat. It's better to stop some where and we can have our meals ", Benjamin said

"No sir, we can not stop here in this desert that too in the day time. It's little danger for us to stop as it is too hot and we can not step on this sand right now ", Mathew said

"Why what happens if we stop here ?", Richard said

"This heat can burn our feet because the sand here is so hot due to this mid sun ", Mathew said

"O really ", Richard said

"What you are saying is real Mathew, is the heat here is that much bad ?", Benjamin asked

"Yes sir, what do you wanna have a try by stepping out here ?", Mathew asked

"What Mathew are you cracking jokes, will we try even if you say so ? Benjamin asked

So every one opened their bags and took out the meals which was arranged for every one in their bags by Mathew and started having their meals by very difficult as the camels are moving in the desert not properly as if like a jigsaw. Everyone is struggling to eat and at last finally completed with hard trails . . 

"Mathew I had a doubt ", Mack said

"What was that ?", Mathew asked

"What if we are in emergency, I mean for wash room ?", Mack asked and every one asked for his doubt

"Why you all are laughing, his doubt is genuine and Mack answer for your question is that we have to control in any way ", Mathew said

"But until then what time ?", Clara asked

"Till night, we can take rest at night i.e., after 8 pm. By the time the sand will be cooled ", 

"O my God, what a hard journey !! ", Benjamin said

"Not all over yet sir, this is just a beginning and there is much more to face in front in our journey ", Mathew said by thinking some thing in his mind

"How do you know that ?", Richard asked very curiously 

"That is . . . I can feel it ", Mathew said

"But how ?", Richard asked

"I don't know ", Mathew said and moved silently forward

By the time every one looked into their faces each other and moved silently with out doing or with out asking him a word further more. But Clara and Mack was thinking that some thing was happened to him and he was not letting them know the cause as he might thinking that everyone will be feared or panic by the reason if he explained them . .

All of them were moving forward silently by looking around and they were some what feared that nothing can be visible to their eyes except the sand and the heat over there as it was irritating them a lot . . They were suffering a lot and Mack was trying to remove his shirt for the heat so that he may feel some what relaxed, but Mathew immediately stopped him by doing so and said

"Mack don't do that ", 

"What ??", Mack asked

"Don't remove your shirt ", Mathew said

"But why, it can be some what better ", Mack said

"No that's not right, it will burn your skin by the sun light, we should not remove our clothes in the deserts like this, because of the sand the heat over here may be in peaks as it observes more heat from the sun. The hot desert is a land of extremes: extreme heat and extreme dryness; sudden flash floods and cold nights. Because deserts are such a harsh environment, deserts often have names likes "Death Valley," "the empty quarter," and "the place from where there is no return." Deserts are usually very, very dry. 

Aside from the oppressive heat and lack of water, the desert is also full of critters that can bite and sting. Some of these guys can even kill you if you aren't able to find medical help. Spiders, scorpions, centipedes, and snakes are all found in dark places -- caves, abandoned buildings and under rocks.

So we have to very care full while traveling on the deserts and may be anything happens here at any time and please don't forget to drink water for every half an hour or for one hour . . ", Mathew explained every one about the Desert and became silent and shocked by hearing the words of Mathew . . 

After a long journey on the desert, it became little dark and the time is 07:30 pm and all of them not even noticed the time, but by then Clara saw the time and said

"Hey, have you all noticed the time, it's 07:30 pm now but still the climate here is little darker, by this time we have already been in darker in our cities. ", 

"Yes you are right, here in the desert areas due to the reflection on the sand day light saving will be more here and it will not become darker soon ", Mathew said

"Mathew when should we have to get down here ", Benjamin asked

"What happened sir, is there any emergency ?", Mathew said

"No not really but my back is paining as we are continuously traveling since morning onwards ", Benjamin said with little worry

"See observe carefully every one, till now we are feeling so much of heat from downwards also right rather than from the sun. Now we feel coolness from downwards by then we can get down, I think in a few more minutes the Desert will be cooled suddenly and then we can get down and rest till morning ", Mathew said

Every one said "Ok" at once and followed Mathew with out asking any more doubts as they all trust Mathew very much but had so many doubts in there minds and not able to clear those as if they thought that if they ask their doubts which was in their inner minds then Mathew may feel bad for that and so they were stopping there doubts in their minds only, but also thinking to clear all the doubts when they had a perfect time with them . . .
