Chapter FifteenUntouched by the cauldron that was Iceland's future, Timothie flew the next day over the Atlantic Ocean, retraced his route to Edmonton and touched down outside his digs on Ada Boulevard. A new resolve pushed him up the stairs to his third level apartment facing the river valley. He more or less collapsed on his cognac leather couch in the living room, pushed a yellow and orange cushion under his neck, and closed his eyes for a moment. It had been a long trip. His rooms faced south, but remnants of orange and gold stretched around the purple skyline of the city near the southwest. He never tired of the view.
